Is Jon Stewart still down with the ‘Occupy’ protests after violence in Oakland?

In early October, Jon Stewart told Daily Show viewers “Look, if this thing devolves into throwing trash cans into Starbucks windows, nobody’s going to be down with that … but these protesters, how are they not like the Tea Party?” Well, anyone paying attention to what’s happened since then has got to be wondering if Jon Stewart is still ‘down’ with the protests as they devolve into violent riots and rapes.

“So Jon, I know it wasn’t a Starbucks. It wasn’t a trash can. It was chairs and Molotov cocktails and it was a Whole Foods,” Glenn said. “Are you cool with it? Are you down with that? I mean, I know technically it’s not a Starbucks but are you cool with the Whole Foods getting chairs through the windows? Is that all right? Or are they just still kind of cool protestors?”

    I think all the money that they have collected should be used to pay for the clean up of the area they used. I think they should reimburse the city for all the overtime the police departments are being paid, that is coming out of the local taxpayers pocket. I think there should be a victim’s funds for those who suffered sexual assault. I think there should be a fund to reimburse people for personal property that was stolen. I think there should be a fund to repair personal property that was damaged in the local communities. I think the worker’s at the port should be repaid for the work hours they lost. I think that any company who couldn’t do business because product couldn’t get to the shipyard, or from the shipyard should be reimbursed. That’s what I think should be done with the monies that Occupy has taken in. How’s that for social justice!

    Funny is what he’s suppose to be. Unfortuanately, there are many who take his program as a serious news program, and this is the ONLY place they get information from! Poor Jon used to remind everyone that he was just a comedian, and not an actual news journalist. But, it seems that he has drunk his own kool aid, and started to consider himself a serious news informer, lol. I suppose he couldn’t help but eventually start to take himself in a serious light when people like Bll O’Reilly interviews him. I group him in with the movie stars, the Michael Moore’s, and music artist who scream they can afford to pay more money, but when ask why they just don’t send extra money into the government, they state because there is no law making them! What a crock! They just want to make sure they still keep their’s when those zombie liberals come raiding homes to take what they think they need, or to take what they think should be theirs! They think they will be able to say, hey, I’m with you. I’m like you, so DON’T TOUCH MY STUFF!
