If no one has said it, I will say it. Find Jesus everyone, the real one. get saved, get prayed up and know He is the only way. He told us these things would happen. Admit you are a sinner (repent means change ,turn around, change your mind,) believe (adhere to, rely on, follow) the Lord Jesus Christ Yshua,  Confess your sins to G-d, Confess Jesus and His salvation to others.

Can it be made into a CD that we can buy? I just tried to get my husband to listen, but he doesn’t like to hear negative stuff. OK, the top of my head is blowing off. What does it take to get people to believe? As a practical matter, I wouldn’t even be able to get any of my family to listen to it. I told my husband in 2006 that my goal was to get prepared for when, as I put it, “civilization as we know it ceases to exist”. He said he was on board with my plan but it was not true. Every one please find one of these useful idiots that believe they can better their own lives by destroying those who have more than they do and befriend them.  Show them what makes freedom-loving freemarket thinkers the kind of men and women who cherish life and exhort others to better them selves.  Demonstrate true compassion and the human spirit that soars on eagle’s wings.  Demonstrate the strength of real love.  

No politician can solve this impending crisis.  Only a national awakening of faith and reason.  The hearts of those who have sold their liberty for hatred can only be won by relationships, one person at a time.  No rest, we must reach them and bring a change in the culture and fabric of our land or we are in for a violent storm.  Be encouraged, the faithful will stand through good or bad times.

Sorry, but…waste of time.  This is all anecdotal evidence.  The people who don’t get it want either,

1) The New York Times, NPR, or President Obama to say that there is a problem, or
2) Conclusive statistical evidence of the problem and its effects (only possible to obtain after the fact.)

When your view of historical developments is a progressive utopian fantasy, it is not possible to see factual evidence in any manner other than that which fits with the progressive story.  In other words, it is not possible to convince a progressive that they are wrong via factual argument.  They simply do not share your idea of “fact-based knowledge”.  To the Progressive, any fact which does not fit with their progressive fantasy is by definition not true.  Progressivism is an inherently irrational ideology.

The best means of convincing a progressive to think for themselves are shame, ostracism, and ridicule.  Again, confronting them with facts is useless, because they will deny any fact which does not correspond with the fantasy they want to believe.  Progressivism is a non-theistic religion.  It can be defeated, because it is a lie – a false religion.  However, it is exceedingly difficult to defeat, because like any faith it is an integral part of the identity of those who believe it.  Thus the best means of defeating Progessivism is shame, ostracism, and ridicule.  Only when the progressive identity is no longer socially attractive will the die-hard progressive give up their fantasy.

We must treat Progressivism as an addiction.  You cannot continue enabling an addict who refuses therapy.  The most loving response is to cut them off.  You cannot engage in argument with them, because this enables them to come up with excuses for their behavior.  Would you argue patiently with a heroin addict while they explain that heroin feels good and really isn’t harmful and besides, they’re not addicted, they can stop anytime?  Of course not.  Neither should you listen to or argue with Progressive addicts.  The most loving response is to say, “I love you, and because I love you, our association is over unless or until I am satisfied that you are seriously pursuing a solution to your addiction.”

Likewise, while like Glenn I too will help anyone whom I am able when the time comes, we need to make it clear that such assistance has a cost.  Anyone who wants to get into the lifeboat you have prepared must honestly and formally acknowledge that they were wrong.  All Progressive addictions must be left behind, and until they learn how to be rational, free-thinking adults you must treat them as the moral and intellectual children that they are.  By no means can you enable the moral hazard of allowing them to rely on you for help and support while letting them maintain the same Progressive addiction which caused the problem in the first place.  It is our personal responsibility to encourage other people to also be personally responsible.  This means paying the consequences of their actions, one way or the other.  Forgiveness does not preclude or supersede repentance.  They must either repent of their past mistakes and honestly commit to avoiding recidivism, or they must pay the actual material consequences.  Yes, I am saying that you may need to leave some, in fact many, die-hard Progressives out in the cold to die.  This is ultimately for their own good: it does you no good to save their physical body if you enable them to continue selling their souls. 

So, we do not need to run our own experiment.  Europe is running that experiment now, and we see that the short lived European dragon is headed strait to perdition.  Dare we follow?

We have to make our voices heard. I have been making informations sheets and passing them out. Putting information on peoples cars. I have been going to businesses, asking them to speak up for themselves, make a list of demands(,You should read the list of demands that OWS submitted to the Mayor of Seattle). Businesses should let our representatives know that they will leave the city if the assault on businesses continues.We need these  businesses and the jobs that they create. Our representatives will have to choose betweem supporting the destructive OWS or the survival of our city.
.One of the OWS people actually said that the people are the problem who shop at the capitalist businesses.The Mayor and the City Council have given permits to the OWS so they can occupy the area where the Christmas tree lightening event will take place. People of Seattle call your representatives and tell them you will not be attending, you will not give OWS the pleasure of destroying that day. The Governor wants Boeing to produce the new fleet of planes in Seattle, why would they? Our representives see businesses as the enemy. People of Boing need to make their position clear, they will not stay in Washington if this is the way they will be treated. I do not want to go down this path that the democrats want to take me. All you have to do is look at Greece and Europe. Socialism has destroyed them, can you say crashing and burning. The government needs to take their boot off the necks  of small businesses and let our economy recover. We need to kick all of the America hating people out of the White House, those people who crave Socialism, let them go live in Greece.

  Thank you so much.  I tried to warn the local Jewish Temple.  I tried to enlist the assistance of the Rabbi in speaking out at the City Councli meeting against the Occupiers.  I sent excellent, evidentiary video links.  You should have seen the email I got back from the Rabbi.  Breathtakeingly wrongheaded.  He continues to lead his flock in the worst possible direction.  May God help us all.

Wow Glenn.  Thank you!  I tend to research everything I read and this has given me so much food for thought.  This paints a very real and chilling picture of what’s going on today.  I have to say, I read a lot of news sites and opinions but I come to your site for the real deal.  I know that I can depend on you for common sense and real facts and your unerring ability to expose the truth and paint the real picture.  Of course, I frequently leave your site and GBTV with a really gut wrenching awareness of the unbelievable abyss our country and the world have fallen into.  I’m just grateful you take the time and money to expose things that never are addressed by main stream media, and share your wealth of information about the real history of our country and it’s founders.  Everyone should vist Wikipedia about the Industrial Worker.  In light of the OWS movement, this really highlights chilling thoughts and steps toward crushing capitalism – I thought Animal Farm was bad.  ‘Slum Proletariat’, ‘One Union, One Label, One Enemy’.  I’ll be busy this Thanksgiving weekend doing some heavy reading.

By the By, there’s an article about a survival outfitter store in Missouri out there – I’m no longer naming other sites out of respect for Glenn – about the overwhelming number of people going to this store to purchase survival food and gear in addition to asking where to buy guns.  These are people they said that have never owned guns.  And are buying backpacks stuffed with gear and setting up distant places to go in the event of a complete breakdown in society.  People are going in together on it, along with families gathering enough for themselves.  Glenn, you have a lot of influence.   I couldn’t help but wonder how many of those people are paying heed to your list for preparedness.  And how many others smell the coffee.

Thanks for the clarification. We don’t have time to Convince people they are Wrong ( die hard progressives) We need to spend our efforts on those who have not yet awakened fully. That is enough of a challenge as these are usually close friends and relatives and relationships are valuable. Some people who are not progressives are still not aware of the serious state we are in and they don’t want to hear about the true state we are in. Lots of prayer and wisdom needed.

As long as we allow our children to continue in the provided public education system – the progressive’s indoctrination system – we will continue to have these ridiculous and irrational arguments.

The purpose of our public education system from preschool to graduate school since its inception has not been to give our children what they need to be productive citizens and to be members of an educated electorate, it has been to brainwash them to trust the state.

That is why Hitler used our system as a basis for his educational system in Nazi Germany, and we already know exactly what it wrought. It is interesting to note that Hitler was able to accomplish his goals very quickly by replacing a God based religion with his own, indoctrinating the children, and killing anyone who stood between him and his goals.

The progressive’s montra up to this point has been PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE; it was just a matter of time before everyone would be thoroughly endoctrinated and their work would be done.  They are running out of patience, now. They want to see the fruit of their labors rewarded…now, and it sounds like especially from these clips, that some of them are ready to resort to volience to quickly wrap up their movement and solidify their idea of “utopia.”

Where would we and our nation be today if it weren’t for the “conservative” movement? That is a scary thought.

If you are like me, white,over 40 and you have never made $200 grand in a year in your life part of the premise of these Occupy Wall Street folks IS exactly what many of us are thinking. Why should I and how stupid are YOU to do so!

Consider this bright folks, WHY was David Roderick earning $350 grand a year while he shut down US Steel in Homestead when it lost less than $200 grand over 6 quarters?? OH, BTW, Ron Weisen and David Roderick were PA. delegates for Walter Mondale! IT IS TRUE!

Do people who earn $200 grand a year deserve our sympathy? Not mine. I hope the young folks do RISE because just like our STUPID generations before us they did not care one bit about any of us. I completely understand where you are coming from and I agree with most everything you have said except for how to defeat the fanatics of the religion of ‘Progressivism’.  You are 100% correct that they have their identiy tied up in their false ‘god’ (my word) and that they reject anything as false that disagrees with the tennants of their faith.  But I have to say, the way to reach them is through the ultimate strength of compassion, or true love.  The kind of love that would throw one’s self on a greande, the kind of love that hung on the cross, the kind of love that has room for forgiveness (after repentance as you said).  By ridiculing, shaming, and ostracising those who are ignorant about how life really works you only give them a target to hate. 

When the useful idiots gather on face book or flock on twitter or where ever else they congregate, they sit around and tell lies about us, the lovers of freedom and individuality liberty, how we want children to go hungry, die, and be stupid.  We want to poison every green thing that lives and eat every endangered animal on earth.  We want to shoot our guns, become terrorists, and in general hate every good liberal.  They discuss the great coming utopia and decry our barbarian ignorance, our hatefulness and greed as we rape the resources of the world for our own greed.  (I could go on but I need to take a walk after eating too much turkey   LOL)

By reaching out with love and humility, true love and humlity that emenates from a strong character and an immovable soul rooted on the rock of true faith, we show them a facet of life they are unaware of.  It is like feeding someone a tomato from a home farm, grown on rich compost and tended with love, picked ripe only moments before sitting down to lunch.  Until that moment, they have only eaten tomatos that were grown with chemicals on depleted soil, picked green, and transported half way around the world.  They will resent the real tomato because if they want it on a continual basis, it means hard work.  Of course they will be happy for free hand outs of real tomatos. 

Showing them the strength of real friendship may mean that they will abuse it and riducule you.  They may mock you behind your back and use you for the source of joke material.  Being a friend does not mean letting them walk on you or steal from you; friends can say no and set boundaries.  But for some, the time will come when their own constructed world crumbles around them.  Then they will remember that you were the one who was better than their pack of life-sucking leaches called progressives.  Those leaches will turn on them in an instant.  You will be a strong tower with a real way of life and a message of how they can be free too.  They will come to see the benefits and blessings of hard work.  They will see that you were right.  Of course some will gladly run to their own destruction, but at least you lived in such a way to be a beacon.

Only home computer I do is my own.  And that baffles me so much that I no longer use Windows except to help other souls.  I’m into Linux:  Free with just about everything Windows does and more, and lots of info on the Internet about it.  Has several versions out – I have Ubuntu 11 (my favorite), Mint, Puppy, Quirky, Red Hat, Fedora and Debian.  Take your pick. Use Wine or Wine Tricks and run Windows programs.  Funny thing:  Dual boot with Windows, and Windows sees only a couple of Linux folders; Linux, on the other hand, reads all of Windows folders, including system folders.

Works in Linux too!  Thanks!

Thanks to all of you who compiled this.  It did not do much to help my Thanksgiving, but my only regret is that I did not have any success; and I feel as though I did not sufficiently defend our Heavenly Father’s chosen people. I pray I do better and am granted the power of persuation to get people to at least listen and hear for themselves. God bless us all who are trying. We have certainly got our work cut out for us, and I do not know about any of you, but I need to work a lot harder.

You just explained my Thanksgiving dinner with my dad! Just this past summer he could not understand why everything focused around Israel, why I felt I had to go there to stand with them…he’s already been swooped up and their sickening tv channels, and only ridiculed, mocked and ultimately ignored me throughout dinner this evening.

Unfortunately he is all I have left because the rest of my family passed from one thing or another in 09.  What’s worse is he began to pick at my children, so I felt it best to depart with kisses goodbye and I love you’s.  He would not return one I love you nor give a hug back to myself nor my children. It is sad what evil is doing to those we love.

Like you said, they will hopefully look back one day and see we were right. And if they don’t, they at least saw that we were loving in the face of adversity, and different than they are.  Tonight sucked the life out of me, saddened me more to not be stronger than to lose my dad.  I love him so very much, but my Heavenly Father commands me to defend His people, and at least I can feel successful in that. I may not have persuaded anyone, but I did God’s will and not my own this day.

The United States is a republic, and frankly DOES allow communism.  Remember the Hippie “communes” back in the 1960s?  They weren’t shut down by the government – they were shut down by their own weight of inadequacies.

I went to visit friends in Chattanooga , TN this past April, I worked there and Atlanta for many years. I was shocked at how the city had grown, they had revamped the down town area and it was beautiful. I didn’t recognize many of the areas because of  new houses, businesses and new construction that was taking place. The same is true when I went to Georgia.
I moved to the West Coast in 2002, I worked in California for 2 years then moved to Washington State. The  two states are the same, both are ran by the Radiacal liberals and the Union, the cities are decaying from corruption. There is no growth, no new businesses and they are allowing the OWS to take over their cities, they are helpless and they have lost control of their cities. I heard today that California offered OWS  a 10,000 square foot building  that the city owns, they will rent to the OWS for 1 dollar a year for 10 years . They will give OWS 2 plots of land to grow their own food. I It think that OWS is part of the corruption that they supposidly are fighting against/. Could you imagine the city offering this to the Tea Party?

As Glenn always says, we were born in this time for a reason. A dear friend of mine gave me some great advice the other day… pick myself up, dust myself off and get out of this funk over things;  to see that there are much worse things in life and people way worse off. I love my family and wish they could see the truth, but I’ve done all that I can do.  I must leave it now with God and pray for them. Even in their angry, hurtful, hateful moments, I must pray for and love them. 

I’ve also become estranged from my 18 yr old daughter to this, and she’s just beginning to finally speak to me more. She still is on their side and does not wish to discuss my beliefs, but she actually inquired about the reason for Christ’s crusifiction today.  Her dad is an athiest and alays contradicted what i tried to teach her. Now she is living with her boyfriend and his father, a muslim convert, who had even given me a pamphlet from the radical Islamic mosque nearby.  It was a huge step for her to ask me. While I was in Israel, her boyfriend n father moved themselves into my home and would not leave. When  I finally demanded them to, my daughter took their side and left. We had been so close that it literally crushed me.

All we can do is pray. If we put all of our faith in G-d and believe He will give us the power to fight this evil, we will beat it. I can feel that it’s possible, and it’s going to be a mess until the very last minute.  People will finally see the truth. We need to stick together no matter what our differences.  Love is the only answer.
