Yes, I know many many of you do not believe as I…but still…take a listen and look around you…let truth take hold, you at the end are still FREE to make your choice, THAT is your God given right.

Here we go:

2 Chronicles chapter 7 gives account of when Israel finally finished the long awaited Temple. 
King Solomon at the
dedication of the temple;
 
..vs….12 And the
LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your
prayer, and have chosen this place (meaning the Temple) to myself for an house of sacrifice.

Now note this, God tells Solomon something regarding the bad things that can and do happen to us all, but I like how God puts Himself at, if you will, to blame in vs. 13:

 13 If I shut
up heaven that there be no rain (Hello Texas drought), or if I command the locust to devour
the land, or if I send pestilence among my people (the billions of dollars lost including the crops because of the drought, and he LONG term affects). The floods of the East Coast, etc.

BUT…and this is so God…He gives us an “out” and the steps to achieve it!

 14 If my
people,
(although here it meant Israel…NOW I step on toes here…see the term “My people”…that means believers, Christians, BUT who also set God as “in whom we trust”? the United States)

which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; (This phrase deals with the area of
our pride.  The word translated “pride”
in the Old Testament means “to rise or to swell up.”  It refers to the rising of the waves of the
sea. It speaks of men thinking more of themselves and their abilities than they
do of God.  Pride says, “I do
not need God, I can make my own way.  I
know best.  I call the shots in my life.”
We’re eaten up with pride in our lives, we’ve learned how to function without the
help of the Lord and it has destroyed our much needed humility. 
When we compare
ourselves the to the world, we are looking pretty good!  Can you say…”Mirror mirror on the wall…whose the fairest of them all?”

How
can Americans tell if Americans have a pride problem? Here are the evidences of pride in Americans:

  1.
Pride refuses to listen, it always interrupts others.

 
2. Pride likes to talk about itself all the time.

 
3. Pride has an intense desire to be noticed.

 
4. Pride believes that it deserves everything it gets.

 
5. Pride is not thankful.

 
6. Pride cannot be corrected.

 
7. Pride does not like to follow instructions.

  8. Pride exalts itself
in the presence of others; it brags.

  9. Pride criticizes
and tries to makes itself look better by putting others down.

10. Pride thinks of its own needs first.

      (Muhammad Ali furnishes a good example of pride at work.  He was on an airplane once and he was standing
up in the aisle, talking and laughing and entertaining the passengers.  Finally, the stewardess came back to him and
said, “Mr. Ali, you’ll have to take a seat and fasten your seat belt because
the plane is about to take off.” 
Well, Mohammed Ali looked at her with a snarl, and said, “Honey,
superman don’t need no seat belt.” 
She looked at him and said, “Yeah, and superman don’t need no airplane
either.  Now sit down and buckle up.”)

God makes this statement “Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land

In verse 17 He even states to King Solomon, (and I believe every leader of a country that desires to do “right”)  17 And as for you, if you will walk before Me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes (laws) and my judgements;

Vs. 18: then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, a man to be ruler in Israel.

Now, this is only my opinion…but I believe God was telling him that he would have his back.

BUT, here comes the punch line in Vs. 19 through 22:

Vs. 19:  But if you turn away and forsake, leave, or violate my statutes, laws and my orders, commandments which I have set before you (given to you all previously) and shall go and serve other gods (corruptness, lies, pride, arrogance, stealing, backstabbing, and so on like we all including our Government, politicians, policies) and worship them (make those ways of conducting ourselves our way of life above doing what is right)

Vs. 20 then will I pluck them (you) out by the roots out of my land which I have given them (you) and this house which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and byword among all peoples

I believe that God will allow us to lose our Constitution that we have held so dear, all that America has been “good” for…will become as He said a “proverb”.  You know what a Prover is don’t you?  It’s like a lesson…Cause and Effect.

America as our Forefathers, our servicemen and women fought, bled and died for…will be, just as the last two verses state:

Vs. 21: And this house (the Americans), which is so high, and every one that passes (see, remembers) by it shall be astonished, and shall say “Why has the Lord don this to this land (America), and to this house (Americans)

Vs. 22: And they shall answer, “Because they (the Americans) forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt (England and King Charles I threats of harsh punishments if they did not obey the Church of England; they sought freedom in America) and laid hold on other gods (wealth, power politically, unjust laws and treatment of people, closed door legislation, secret deals, taxing, cheating Americans, lying, stealing, murdering innocence, etc.) and worshipped them (made them more important than life itsself) and served them (willingly and knowingly choosing this conduct because if you don’t you can’t get elected):  therefore has He brought (allowed) this evil upon them.

**So many swallowed the bitter pill Barack Obama and anyone who shares his ideals handed out…WE ALL had a choice…some worked hard to stop him/them, while others just let it happen, while others said “oh, someone will do it”, others just said “don’t get me involved” and still others said “what’s the use?”.

ALL is NOT lost…this IS still AMERICA…MAKE IT HAPPEN…

KNOW the issues, KNOW the candidates, ASK the HARD questions, ACCEPT nothing else but THE TRUTH in answers.  Then ARM yourselves and LET NOTHING keep you from VOTING for the person that is honest, has character, courage, integrity, will admit they’re wrong when wrong, will seek out answers when they don’t have one, is humble, says what they mean and means what they say, WILL NEVER EVER COMPROMISE WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUST and WILL NEVER EVER ALIGN themselves with or allow those in their cabinet, their families,  to be or do ANYTHING LESS, one who won’t expect or demand anyone to do anything himself/herself has not done.

One who will take off the suit jacket, the tie, roll up his sleeves and get down and dirty in the trenches to work alongside you and me until the job is done!
