5/25/2012, Noon: Just came from a local GOP/Tea Party meeting with Ted Cruz in Fort Worth, Texas. I’ve been reading and watching all of the info on the Senate hopefuls for the Kay Bailey Hutchson Senate seat. Ted Cruz has my vote. raygun

Following the pundits and the party favorites in their endorsement would make us lemmings. We are not lemmings. I worry about the young people though. They aren’t taught thinking and reasoning skills in schools anymore. They are brainwashed to not trust their eyes and own judgements. The “do as I say, not as I do” cliche doesn’t work in political messaging.

Although I like Sarah Palin and would vote for her, I pay no attention to endorsements by her or any other person. I have my own brain and I really resent anyone who tries to tell me in a not so subtle way that I need help in making my own decision bedcause I’m just not well enough informed. That is all every endorsement is except for the general election, that is obviously based on party. So if a pol wants my respect then shut your f’n mouth.
