The way you choose to call His name is your option. You will see on architecture all over the world the common Germanic form of the name of Jehovah. And no, I can’t call Jehovah by his son’s name whichever way you choose to pronounce it. And before you say it…Jesus is NOT God, rather….. I suspect Andrea Mitchell, Brian Jennings, Katie Couric, Ann and Matt (Today Show) and Hillary were among those who thought the Muslim Brotherhood was an innocent fraternity with good intentions, a lot like CAIR and ISNA. I’m sure the list of “didn’t get it” is way longer than the list of “did.”

Many Jews also use “Ha-Shame” for “The Name.” It’s also common to use a double “yud” to represent His Name.

However, He gave us His Name to use rightly not to hide it.

His Name is YaHVeH, not Jehovah. Jehovah is made of consonants YHVH (in German “J” is our “Y” sound) plus the vowel points for Adonai (Lord). Hebrew does not write vowels except in Scripture and grades 1-2. By 3rd grade, you no longer need the printed vowels to read.

BUt you can also call him Jesus (Yeshua).
