2. It was an activist ruling because Roberts rewrote the legislation to deem it a tax, and he did it on his own. The law did not say it was a tax, Obama said it was not a tax and the argument before the Court concentrated on necessary and proper and commerce clause, which 5 of the Justices rejected. Only Roberts speaking for himself, rewrote the legis to deem it a tax to save the mandate which penalizes those of us who do not want to be dictated to by clueless bureaucrats, whether ins or governmental.
You said a person on welfare is a lesser person, I didn’t. Welfare recipients get Medicaid. I don’t think any citizen should have to pay for others poor choices. You are the only arrogant “prick”, assuming by the poverty of your vocabulary, syntax and comprehension that you ostensibly have male genitalia, whether it works or not. Pelosi said no freeloaders. What are drug addicts, smokers, medicaid receipients but freeloaders? It doesn’t take 2700 pages of gabble and 180 new bureaucracies and 17 trillion in costs to “protect” college students (who have medical care through the colleges at low cost) and those with “preexisting conditions”. Insurance is the problem, not the solution.
4. Like many, I worked, had insurance and assumed doctors knew what they were doing. Every time I was forced by WC or ins to see a doctor, I had a bad experience. For 40 years, I watched my parents get sicker every time they went to a doctor. I have not seen a doctor except for WC for 20 years. I will not take any FDA approved drug, nor will I see an AMA doctor voluntarily ever again. I will not be forced into any govt or ins determined “medical care”. You leave, if you like socialist medicine so much.
5. You are the epitome of spin. Every citizen who believes in personal responsibility and individual rights and does not want their “health” dictated by clueless bureaucrats is angry.
