In response, John Stuart holds a rally on the mall in which the photos from the Restoring Honor event were doctored to try and show people that far more people were against conservatives than for them. Of course, that was simply an “error” when it was discovered. Doctoring George Zimmerman’s 911 call to make it appear that he shot the boy simply because he was black, then reporting the call as “unedited”…that was simply a mistake too. When Ed Schultz showed a clip of Rick Perry giving a speech about the deficit and edited it to appear as if Perry was saying that there was a “…great, big, black cloud hanging over our heads” as referring to the color of Obama’s skin…that was simply an oversight, not deliberate. When Rush Limbaugh referred to Ms Fluke as a “slut” every liberal went into histrionics for weeks and the president called her to comfort her, while Ed Schultz indignantly attacked him as well, yet less than a year previous, he went on a mental rampage on his show, referring to Laura Ingraham as a slut, while Bill Maher referred to Sarah Palin as a “stupid cunt”…that was just the boys being boys. Not one of the Democratic female caucus would condemn either Schultz or Maher. In fact, President Obama had nothing but good to say about Maher because he had just taken a check from him in the amount of $1,000,000. Gloria Steinham and NOW’s response to the obvious, ongoing, unapologetic, misogynistic slurs? Nothing. Harry Reid says Obama’s “…not black enough” yet, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson rally to his defense because they had to reassure the nation that Harry Reid just had a slip of the tongue and he wasn’t really a racist. The problem is, the media is complicit in all of this, instantly and mindlessly running to the defense of any liberal, no matter what they say or who they say it about.  They feel an obligation to edit, actively suppress or ignore whatever hurts liberals. Obama has had ten times more gaffes than Dan Quail, yet no mention is made of it and often, his speeches are edited to exclude those embarrassing moments, while every conservative is mocked, vilified, scorned and abused on what passes for news these days. Obama announced his candidacy at the home of a convicted terrorist, but nobody in the liberal media establishment questions his ties to communist activists and socialists? They allow him to lie about his birth and his allegiances and actively work to cover up any missteps. This is why their viewership is in the toilet. Even the liberals don’t watch the liberal media for information. Obama has an absolute pass with the news agencies and no matter how far Obama plunges this country into bondage and fear, they will salute and march smartly off the cliff with him while attempting to take as many of us with them as they can possibly manage. That’s what we’re up against and why, if we don’t get actively involved in this fight, divisiveness will be the only legacy we have left.

I believe this is why this Congress has the lowest approval rating in history. But It doesn’t matter, until we hold them accountable for  failing to pass a balanced budget, to increasing the national debt for the next five generations to pay off, to ramming Obamacare down our throats, to bashing the opposition relentlessly.  I am a firm believer in the fact that the only way to know a lie, is to arm yourself with the truth. In other words, it is up to each of us to look beyond the surface lies at know the truth.

I guess that I represent the height of “race based” opposition because I think that Obama is the single worst President of the United States we have ever seen.  But it has nothing to do with race; it has everything to do with record. I don’t have to be prejudiced to see the ruin that Obama has brought to this nation. He thinks he has to apologize for America’s success to the world. You can’t argue with success, and don’t have to apologize for it. Where would the world be, if it were not for America. We have been sucked into helping the world at the expense of our national integrity. Where does the world go when there are natural, or man made disasters, that strike? To America. Who else has the success that allows us to foot the bill for the rest of the world? America. We don’t owe anyone anything, or have to apologize to anyone, for America’s success. But because of our greatness, we still answer the call.

I agree. I have answered every poll, every email asking to spread their message regarding the state of our country, read everything I can to be more informed. I pray for our country and for those that we are counting on to help pull us out of this mess we are in. If God wants it to be it will be no matter what Obama wants or how many votes he tries to steal. But we still need to do out part as best we can. Whether you call it “tax” or “mandate”, or anything else, it’s still a burden! It’s amazing how many people don’t really look into the whole truth. God created man with the ability to think and reason, yet we have been compared to sheep. Why is that? Because so many just bleat and blah, and follow the crowd. It sounds so comforting to think that we can run to our doctor for any little ache and pain, and somehow the cost of that visit, along with subsequent tests, procedures, and medications will just magically be paid for out of the pot of gold at the end of the Obamacare rainbow!

It’s time to wake up, use the brain, and think about the root of the problem! Health care is just ridiculously expensive, due to price gouging, litigation, greed, and outright fraud. The solution is quite simple: Make it illegal for an employer or any other third-party to make payments in behalf of a patient. The patient is responsible for the bill. Period. If a person wants health insurance, let them buy it for themselves. Make medical devices that sell for a reasonable margin, not machines that cost $800 to make, then selling for $24,000 and more. Limit liability suits to compensation. Unfortunately, too many attorneys are making the laws!

The biggest one though, is that we’ve become isolated from our healthcare providers and have no idea how much they are or are not being paid for the services they render. This has allowed  an out of control grab-fest and the piranha are in a feeding frenzy. Let the free market system work by having patients purchase what they need and pricing with come down to the point where people can afford to pay for the small stuff and insure themselves from the big stuff.

I applaud Glenn for doing this to unite all of us to take action.  For the most part he’s singing to the choir.  Those of us who follow Glenn probably feel as strongly as he does.  I would hope we all are planning to turn out in force to vote.  But I’m also grateful he’s showing how angry he is about the Obamacare ruling.  I was floored when I heard it Thursday.  And no response felt right.  Maybe a better word would be shocked.   I pray to God his message is heard around the country.  And that people don’t forget their anger by November.  As soon as the ruling was made public there’s been an extreme heat wave and major storms.  People are grappling with everyday survival in many areas of the Midwest and more.  No electricity.  The utility union for Con Ed in New York is threatening to strike over pensions.  Millions of people are distracted. And memories are short.  It’s a statistic.  This tax doesn’t go into effect until 2014. Well after the real possibility that Obama is re-elected. In a way, it’s too bad it doesn’t go into effect immediately.  Then everyone would feel the pain.  And be motivated to vote him out of office.  There is a very real possibility he will be re-elected.  And as Glenn pointed out, what happens if Romney doesn’t repeal Obamacare?  Roberts’ so-called logic, in upholding Obamacare as a tax, was that it was passed in Congress by ‘representatives of the people’.  He’s wrong.  That, in and of itself, is false.  It was passed behind closed doors BECAUSE the representatives of the ‘people’ would not pass it.  Pelsosi, et.al., took it off the floor: took it behind closed doors to force it through.  Then came out saying we’ll all know the contents of the law once it passed…. And John Roberts passed it.  I am sick and tired of all the articles and commentary saying John Roberts made a brilliant decision.  That he’s a Jedi Knight (that from Breitbart), that his savvy decision will force the hand of voters to vote for Mitt Romney. No one knows how people will vote.  No one knows what lies are believed and which aren’t.  There was no brilliance on the part John Roberts.  Just plain and simple capitulation.  He strikes me as a weak man.  Someone who sits in the Chief Justice position as a hopefully neutral no-one.  And who drove the stake through the hearts of all Americans with his gross misinterpretation of the law.  While the left and others celebrate – celebrate what?  That we will all have the biggest tax imposed on us in the history of this country?  Celebrate a pathetic win for the sitting president?  Celebrate HIS victory??  While he just screwed us to the max.

Glenn, I don’t know if you ever read our comments.  I have a question.  Can states that lean toward conservative secede from the United States?  I know you’ve made many comments about your decision to move to Texas because it represents your values.  Can states secede?  What would it take for that to happen?  How can Americans move away from the big government that owns our country?  Without moving out of the country?  Many states have already said they will refuse Obamacare.  States like New York and California have much bigger electorate votes than other states.  Is the solution to separate from the current administration and government?

It’s up to all of us to do our part. We can’t be afraid to stand up and voice our views……for good men to do nothing means we lose and isn’t an option. At this point for me, I don’t care if in doing so I make enemies; so be it. At the very least, we prevent those that like to say, “I didn’t know”!! We can’t let happen what took place in Germany, by the people in 1939.

In terms of Justice Roberts, I think he did the right thing otherwise he would have been just like Obama; Over-reach the powers of the court by making law. That’s the job of Congress.

No, the majority voted for Obama. If you recall, the thief in question disrespected the court at his inauguration ….Roberts can’t repeal the bill, only Congress can. If he could have, everyone would be satisfied and that would have been a disaster because it would invoke a false sense of security on the part of the people……Obama most likely wins in November. Dear President Obama,

The Great Depression did not end as a result of government largess; the Great Depression ended because the US went to war, and in so doing annihilated the enemies ability to produce goods, and thus wage war.  By the wars end the only country with any manufacturing capacity was the good old USA.  Admittedly, FDR’s policies might well have saved this nation from further erosion, but the birth of entitlement programs of that era, and those that followed, will in the next three decades combined with the interest on our debt, completely drain the productive resources of our nation.  That is, our entire federal budget will be equal to those financial promises, and if the next forty-seven months of this administration are anything like the first one – those promises will buy me a cup of coffee, and a doughnut when I begin to rely on them.

As far as your apparent animus toward Republicans for trying to be, at long last, responsible with the funny money that is the American dollar; the toughest part of any fight is not deciding to do the right thing – it is doing it.  Under Minority Whip Cantor the Republican party demonstrated that it is prepared to, at long last, stand for fiscal responsibility.  Seven Democrats stood with Republicans on the last “stimulus” vote.  While I do not have the responsibility of being director of any part of the Republican party; I am a registered Republican.  My party provided the leadership, Abraham Lincoln, that preserved the Union and ended slavery.  My party provided the leadership, Ronald W. Reagan, that pulled the United States, and the rest of the world out of the malaise of the 70’s.  I’m proud of the Republican party and the spine it is showing against this self-destructive economic philosophy.

In so far as your assertion that the stimulus bill will create millions of jobs and provide for various forms of alternative energy.  Sometimes when it snows I hire my teenage neighbor to shovel; my neighbor is a smart hardworking fellow, he once revealed he is saving it for college.  Why?  He wants to grow economically, maybe he will decide to sacrifice present wants for a matter of years and realize the goal of coming back to XXXXX and raise a family – as I have.  That is real job creation; make work projects do not create communities, they destroy them.  As for alternative energy, there is only one, nuclear power.  At present not one reactor is under construction in the entire United States.  All other forms of alternative energy even if we max them out – wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass – do not have the horsepower to do the job.  Even if they did we cannot transport enough power from those areas that create it to those that will consume it.

The only way out of our current situation is to determine what is absolutely necessary and to use the organs of the federal government to fix the damage it caused, and take the rest, and throw it away.  In doing that we will end the constant cycle that creates one crises after another.  In doing this we will be able to rebuild our banks, our military, our communities, and fund restructured entitlement programs via a vibrant and growing economy.  Building modern nuclear power plants, using that clean power to convert domestically produced coal to domestically produced liquid fuel; and continue  to support applied science to research solar panel technology to shrink the cost of production, and increase its capacity to generate power and batteries to store it on cloudy days.

  I did not live through the great depression, and I am sorry you had to – I did however, with the help of my older sister, survive a violent alcoholic mother who thought the world owed her something – she was right, but it wasn’t a roof, or a drink – and it certainly wasn’t something a five year old or an eight year old could deliver.  There are “eight million stories in the naked city” mine is no worse nor any better than anyones – it is just different.  I survived that abuse, I and you, will survive this abuse.  Betting against America or an American(especially me) is always a bad bet; especially when our collective back is against a wall.  We did it before and we will do it again, I have not a single doubt in my mind as to our ability to overcome this manufactured fiscal disaster or any other for that matter, real or imagined.  We know that when we harness everyday wisdom, and apply it to seemingly complex situations we solve them.  Since this Nation’s founding we have overcome every single challenge that has been placed in our way – we innovate, we compete, we overcome.  And at times go to war to restore the peace or our liberty, and families all across America bear the raw cost of those battles – including mine.   

In fact, I think this nightmare will be fertile ground for any politician, Democrat or Republican, to advocate for fiscal soundness, insurmountable national defense, restructured entitlement programs, and individual State control of the rest.  Sir, politics ought not to be about who wins and who looses, or what party prevails, it ought to be about who can best articulate, and promote our shared values, and principles and in doing that lift all citizens up, not a few at the expense of the other.  Remember, as President Reagan said, “If we lower our standards we lower the flag.”  I say we put the shovels away and grab a bull dozer and a half track and get to work.  I say we take our eyes off the politicians and put them back on the business leaders, the engineers, the scientists and the service members who preserve this great country, and all those men and women that make this country move everyday without so much as a thank you.  This is where our attention should be, this is where our hope will turn to reality, this is where change will hone the granite that is the impenetrable American spirit.

Why are there ardent supporters?  This is the biggest question.  What is behind Pelosi?  Reid?

Think about how many tax payers have to pay taxes to cover each Gov employee. The Prez has added 2 or 300,000 new Gov employees. If you’re paying a $1,000 in taxes and it all goes to pay a Gov employee and that employee makes $100,000 plus benefits and pension it takes thousands of taxpayers to cover one Gov employee. (I used round numbers to make it easy)

In response to the critic who said China only loans 8% to cover our National Debt, Here’s Wikipedia’s latest account of who is propping up our National Debt.  As of 2011. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt  We the people are responsible for 11 Trillion Dollars of our National Debt which is around 15 Trillion.  Yes, we are.  We will be required to back that debt and pay for it.  As I’ve said, Obamacare isn’t about healthcare, it’s about our taxed responsibility to pay off this debt.  Thanks to John Roberts. As government grows, you and I foot this bill.  We are not simply paying for what we need. We are paying for what our government says we need along with their salaries. So, when you pay taxes, and now as of 2014 pay more, what little is left in your paycheck is for you.  We are working for the government, not ourselves.  What is disturbing is how hard it is to find out who is loaning the US money.  Searches did not reveal it easily.  This is fraud.

The health care scam was put forth as not being a “tax.”   Obama insisted, over and over again, that it was not a tax.   Now, Justice Roberts has declared it to be a tax, so the entire garbage piece of legislation needs to be scuttled.   Only Congress has the power to levy taxes – not the president, not the courts.   We need to come out in droves in November and vote out just about every delusional, arrogant, inbred, corrupt, incompetent incumbent from the top on down.

Democrats usually combat the deficit via higher taxes, when the Republicans take over a given office, they have to cut taxes in order to sustain economic growth, and that usually raises a debt ceiling.  Even if that statement were brazenly incorrect, republicans who increase the deficit could blame their failures on the guy who came before them, just like Obama blames Bush.  Put that in your left wing hash pipe and smoke it.
