Tweet READ the amazing letter from Neil Armstrong that Glenn read on radio Wednesday, Aug 29, 2012 at 4:46 PM EST http://www.artinphoenix.com/gallery/grimm snowleopard (cat folk gallery) Echoes of the past come to us in the here and now, as we dream of the future that is opening before each and every one of us. - Snowleopard. Anonymous straight talk from an American hero. RIP, Neil Armstrong. ”one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind. ” yes, Neil said he said “A MAN” and the radio transmission muffled it. but either way, it works. Anonymous A great letter from a great man. You will never be forgotten. Anonymous Very touching sentiments. You can also sense Mr. Armstrong’s humility. Notice that he would note his good fortune rather than say how great he is. I believe the world is a better place having had Mr. Armstrong in it and go beyond it. Anonymous Dearest Ms. Snow leopard, I have a proposition for you ! If you take your blogs and rite a book, I’ll buy your book. You have enough material ! So why not ? Neil Armstrong is my greatest personal hero, only maybe second to Audi Murphy ! You do the math ? I’ve never been offended by something you have written. I did not always agree with it, but I’ve never been offended ! Neil Armstrong ! What can any of us say, I loved that man and will always cherish his contribution to us. The human race. Sorry, I meant this to be a reply not a post, Thanks . http://twitter.com/LucindaMPace Lucinda M. Pace yes, Neil said he said “A MAN” and the radio transmission muffled it. but either way, it works. http://Special4Projects.blogspot.com http://profile.yahoo.com/7YW6Y4XQHPPTRQC4FPERZ7G7D4 Tootie I grew up with the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo astronauts. Thanks to an uncle who worked there, I was able to meet some of the guys when thay came to Brooks AFB in San Antonio for training. They all seemed to be a bit brash and totally courageous excepting John Glenn. Glenn had that quiet confidence and integrity that won me over immediately. I’m guessing Neil was much the same. I know the two were close as the years went by. Watching him take that first step onto another world was and still is the most exciting moment in my life – only equaled by the birth of my children. Nothing else comes close. These men and women earned the respect they received. Anonymous Dearest Ms. Snow leopard, I have a proposition for you ! We have no president, no democracy, no freedom of press after unelected officials staged a coup and took over the media. The truth is being buried in Psy-ops comments and disinformation. The link in my name exposes what no one can report on, the truth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHETWQlwxfg&feature=share&list=PL5FABE780A13D231D Rahm Kota I will just play this video of his walk on the moon and landing. Fitting tribute to his work. http://youtu.be/HCt1BwWE2gA http://youtu.be/JgzrhMw3po0 http://youtu.be/sJv5_y2l5as Anonymous Neil Armstrong was so right. He was born in a time of radio and propelled air craft. He died in a time of “ television” “ the cell phone “ “ the internet” “ the mars rovers” “the I-pad” and much, much, more. I get the message it was a message of planet earth being occupied by trillions of people, with thousands of cities rising onto the sky, completely sustainable with their own rivers, forests, communities, Everything! This man in an era of radio and television stood on the surface of the moon, looked at earth and new the future was unimaginably wonderful. But only if we embrace those rights of man that put us on the moon in the first place. We must be a G-d and principal loving people, we must be a free people, and we must be a nation that shows the world the importance of human life from conception until death. I challenge you to consider the Global Over population thing is nothing more than a demonic attempt to Kill a lot of human beings. It is be the greatest lie of our time! I promise you if you embrace humanity there will come technology that will secure the blessing of posterity for all man kind. That is our future if we choose to give it to our children ? http://pulse.yahoo.com/_AVE4CS4YR3B2WVXDACQC5ZKBHI MDTERP Beautiful letter. A kind of passing of the torch. He had such a thirst for knowledge and excitement for what the future held. He must have been sad and more than a little disappointed that he would not be around to enjoy the ever-evolving developments in science and technology. RIP, Neil Armstrong.
