If by peace you mean the murder, rape, theft, and otherwise general oppression of Jews by Muslim conquerors, if by peace you mean that in the Qur'an (and the Hadith) itself there are passages describing justification for and mandating that all Muslims do these things to Jews, then yeah, there was peace.
