As an individual, he's a bit of a jerk and a definite leftist, but he's not some genius James Bond villain. It has been his appointments and the effect that his radical socialist, communist, eugenicist bureaucratic appointments have had that is really killing and endangering our country. They've worked to make this machine of government a self-perpetuating monster. It's the bureaucracy - the people we don't get to vote on - the people that respond directly to the puppet masters - that is the real evil, the real poison that has crippled the ability of our side (the side of liberty) to influence this country to move back in our direction. It was darn sincere. Just from personal experience, the way he was talking and expressing, it’s like when I go off on a rant about something I’m very fond of. Whether he is capable of truly helping this economy or not. I feel he will give it an honest attempt, we just have to have faith that he has the knowledge. It would seem he is for states rights as a whole, so if he focuses on what’s really important, he’ll be fine. I’m really looking forward to what he has to say about foreign policy in the debates. This current administrations PC approach to Islam is frightening for sure. Wasting money and worse sacrificing the lives of our soldiers to set up democracies in areas that have no concept of how to separate religion from government? Where’s the logic in that?
