allamericanclothing company sells some really nice jeans for $50. I wouldn't buy anything else. They are much better than Levi and last quite a long time. They have ballroom jeans too :)

Ahhh... Corporate media... Rich people paying rich people, to tell middle-class and poor people to blame each other... It's fascismtastic!!! :)

Ever wonder how Germany maintains the world's second largest trade SURPLUS, AND how they've become the banker to some of their western and southern neighbors, despite their workforce being 85% unionized, in both the public AND private sectors...

Ever wonder why you don't hear about punitive "austerity" measures in countries like Germany or Norway?

For a lot of the same reasons you don't hear about them in Massachusetts and Vermont...

"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."-John Adams

"All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise, not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from the downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation."-John Adams

Speaking of facts and evidence:

I am sure they are priced as economically as possible. One can only afford what one can - and one must understand - you do get the quality of product that you pay for; whether made in USA and/or China... One must make choices and live by the consequences...

And for the comment about making clothes last -- it truly depends on how one takes care of the clothes/materials... I am sure you have NOT EXPERIENCED 'Vintage Clothing'.

Thank you Glenn for affording fellow Americans to purchase good quality clothes... and as soon as I can get out of from the temporary financial crunch (as a senior citizen) I am in -- I will be purchasing the clothing...

Just another way for the right wing nut jobs to soak the public with over priced garbage. As if books, videos, etc. weren't enough, now it's over priced jeans.

Wake Up America - These guy's just want your money and will say or do anything to get it.

You can't listen to their shows without a sales pitch on every segment.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, Glenn, but there are American-made jean companies. Not a lot, but they do exist. I'd encourage anyone turned off by the price tag here to check them out.

Please show me a pair of jeans that lasts 15 years! Give me a break. No denim in the world is worth that...A working man wants to buy working clothing. All the Levi's that I have owned last years, but not 15! I guarantee you that Glenn's jeans are no better than a pair of Levi's. He's taking advantage of the "Made in the USA" label. Richard Ducat is right, if Glenn is trying to help American people that are struggling it's a little ridiculous to offer a product that is so expensive. Especially a textile that is necessity. I could understand if he was offering something that wasn't truly needed for everyday life.

And you have hit exactly upon the biggest problem with buying 'Made in USA'...the costs to do so are huge.

Take the Apple iPad for instance: Manufactured in China with nearly-free labor and minuscule materials/worker/wage operating cost, they can sell an iPad at $400 and still make the profit margin required by their shareholders. Make that same iPad here in the US, an identical product, they'd have to sell it at $4000 to make anywhere near a profit, and at that price point they wouldn't see anywhere near the 85,000,000 of them they have.
