I also just heard that the unions are turning away volunteers who are coming from as far away as Alabama to help with restoring electrical service. Why? Because they are not union members. People are starving, and shivering in the cold, unable to leave their apartments because the Union will not let folks who spend their own money to come and help with a job they are inadequate to accomplish, because the help isn't part of the union.
