Glenn Beck is a blowhard dooms sayer, peddling paranoia. His advocacy has contributed to our present situation (along with others) – and yes Republicans (and Democrats) need to reach across the aisle and work on solutions.

Obama is not the devil, nor was Romney an angel of light. America made the better choice this election, it is the duty of all patriots to come together and work for the well-being of the nation. That will mean tax increases and spending cuts. WE are living beyond our means and we have to pay our bills – for the wars Glenn you supported, for the ccorrupt financial system on Wall Street that floated the Romney campaign and that saw Mitt as one of them.

It is not easy – but we have had it far worse – in facing economic hardship and war and nation building. Rich whiners like Glenn Beck are an offence, they need to get out of the way and let decent Americans pitch in to build a better and more just country.

Its not that it won that is so scary. What is scary is that so many people agree with what it wants to do. Just keep the free stuff coming. And pass the legal pot. What is scary is that the moral threads that hold this country together are unraveling so fast. What is scary is knowing that its young voters are the future leaders of this country. Or whatever is left of it.

I think we will get what we deserve. This entire planet has turned their heads away from God. Sandy is just a hint of what is likely to come. What has happened on the East Coast will be the image of this entire country when the financial markets crash. Or will it be a war in the Mid East that starts it. Then, when the sheep turn to the government, no one will be listening. How much more does it take? Birds falling out of the skys, massive fish kills, 7.5 earthquake in Mexico the day of Sandy. This wouldn’t be the first time that God has smitten his children. Seems as if His MO is phase 1, mother nature at his command goes crazy, and in phase 2 he sends his armies in – The Children of Israel or His believers and those who follow His commandments and statutes. This is definately the battle between Satin/The AntiChrist and God. And you must definately know who the AntiChrist is by this point. I know which side I am on. There is a great harvest of souls coming and, yes, you may die. Just concern yourselves with where your soul goes. Dying is easy…

The American people especially in the cities and surrounding suburbs have voted for benefits and continued government spending which would keep the indolent, the poor, the dependent from violence against those who ostensibly have more “stuff”. OK! Now the U.S. is a socialist country with a communist government. In my opinion, enormous Federal government “legalized” abuse will happen which includes violence against sundry groups of citizens and concentration camps. Unfortunately there is no new world to which people can escape and a civil war is both inane and stupid. Perhaps the best method of resisting unconstitutional Federal authority is to copy what the South did to resist carpet baggers after the Civil War. Also, the Black Market for everything and anything as well as an underground barter economy are viable options for survival. However, such may require relocation of family and businesses to like minded states and away from the social parasites in the Northeast and West coast who should be allowed to fully experience the consequences of their philosophy.

Keep the faith. It is all part of God’s plan. Much of our nations people have become apathetic. Many of them may need a strong jolt of bad medicine from this pres. Perhaps this will bring revival. I firmly hope so. I’ve been praying for revival for some time. Perhaps this is God’s answer. I am saddened that this is the end of a great country. But if we are as close to end times as I think, then hard times they are a comin’ no matter what and none can stop it. And if it is part of God’s plan, it can’t be stopped. I have no desire to stop His plan. But I do pray still that there is hope for this country. I will continue to pray that because I believe that is what He would have me do. I saw the article about trying to put a world wide ban on guns. I know the 2nd amendment was written so that we would have arms in case of this very thing. There are not enough people in the nation who will rise up. But as long as it is my right, I intend to exercise it.And if they say I can’t have guns……………the 2nd Amendment says to have them anyway to protect mine and the rights of others. May sound contrary to what a Christian believes, but it’s really not. While your at it buy some for your self.

Problem was, IIRC, it wasn’t just for *violent* offenses.

Glen, you also forgot that the election was won by Obama CHEATING – 141% in one county in Florida voted, in 26 precients in Clevland 100% of the voters voted for Obama, 3 Democratic headquaters head vote twice and got caught (one casting a ballot in Florida and 2 casting ballots in Ohio), and the list grows!
