If you actually wanted to show S.E. Cupp say something reasonable and 'humiliate' Andrew Sullivan then the first part of the show would be more appropriate. The first part where she disagrees with Sullivan's position that legalizing gay marriage is similar to legalizing marijuana. But thinking she humiliated the panel by clinging to idiotic conspiracy theories about Benghazi is pitiful. Yes we should have answers about Benghazi but it was not a conspiracy by us, it was an attack on *US*. Just like the numerous embassy attacks under Bush. If we really want to address the issue then we need to make sure that when the State Department requests money from Congress for embassy security that it is no longer denied. We also need to push aside distractions about Susan rice reporting the declassified talking points that were given to her by the CIA, she did nothing wrong. The attacks on her were obvious political positioning since she is a possible nominee for Secretary of State. We also need to recognize that in the beginning it was completely reasonable to think it was in response to the ignorant anti-Muslim video since at the exact same time there were protest in Cairo in response to that video, and other countries as well. We also have to recognize that intelligence evolves. We need to stop the partisan witch hunt and pretending to care about the truth when all we want to do is make the President look bad because any old slander will do when it comes to Obama.

I will be surprised if the moderators of this site have the intellectual honesty to post this comment since epistemic closure is so rampant in today's Republican party. Epistemic closure - a phenomenon in philosophy and logic that has been appropriated by some of the few republican intellectuals to describe the tea party and hard right's tendency to ignore facts that contradict with their ideology.

Humiliates is the last word I would use. As usual Beckian conservatives leave out the rest of the show as well as the many times Cupp has been humiliated as a result of her ignorant ill-informed comments. Cupp, an atheist, is one of the most insincere and fake people in the media.

Uhm, no. It has been proven time and time and time again, with DOCUMENTED evidence no less, that the invasion of Iraq was NOT based on a lie. It has been proven that the invasion of Iraq was based on faulty intel that EVERY SINGLE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY ON THE ENTIRE PLANET agreed with.

Based on faulty intel? Yes. Based on lies? Heck NO. At least, that's according to ACTUAL DOCUMENTED facts, lol. I understand if idiots like you choose to ignore documented facts, though.

Wars in the Middle East make us safer by ousting war criminal dictators like, say, Saddam Hussein. It makes us safer by getting rid of GLOBAL terrorists like, say, Osama bin Laden. Supporting Israel makes us safer because it's good to have an ally in the region. Not to mention the fact that they are a buffer to the likes of the extreme nature of Iran. We need such a buffer, you know. All this is actually quite obvious to those who have any real knowledge about how extreme some Muslims can be, lol.

What stupidity you just demonstrated Veblen.

Bush did NOT institute torture. You are an absolute MORON for even suggesting that. Bush instituted harsh interrogation techniques. Big difference, son.

George Bush also did NOT go to war in Iraq to get oil. You are an absolute IDIOT for suggesting that as well. Bush went to war against Iraq because of the DOCUMENTED evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. DOCUMENTED evidence that was agreed upon by literally EVERY SINGLE nation on the planet, mind you, including China, Russia, Germany, and France. They ALL agreed that Iraq had WMDs. That, my dimwitted buffoon, was the premise for invading Iraq. It was an act agreed upon by literally EVERY SINGLE ally America actually has in the region.

The policies are mostly the same under Obama, to be sure, but the implementation is actually WORSE under Obama. Congress approved of the war in Iraq after Bush sought their approval. Congress did NOT however approve of an attack on Libya because Obama did NOT even seek Congressional approval. He attacked Libya regardless. When given the location of where Osama was, Obama literally SAT on the information before eventually giving the order to take him out. If it was Bush, Bush would have IMMEDIATELY given the order to take Osama out asap. Yup. Implementation was at least 10 times better under Bush, lol.
