I’m convinced WE will get the last laugh as the entire Globe dissolves into a financial collapse on a level never experienced by mankind.

I had my first heart attack a few months ago. Out of the blue. It brought home to me that I am in the twilight of my life; that I cannot take ANYTHING with me and there’s really nothing I can do to stop it. Therefore, material possessions and money mean nothing to me anymore.

My gun collection: worthless unless I sell them before my demise.
My motorcyles: ”
My knife collection: ”
My life: worthless unless I expend in furtherance of the following.

My grandchildren, however, and their prospects of INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY and an America that provides them the opportunities the founders intended, mean EVERYTHING.

I know the president can’t veto an amendment but I was speaking in a broader sense and I was being short. It will never happen ! Amendments take years and with Obama he would simply refuse to honor any amendment calling it unconstitutional. If any amendments were proposed killing Obama care for example it will never happen ! The president’s veto powers in that spectrum “ in all other matters” would have a profound effect in any amendment proposal. I don’t mind disagreement so long as the objective is to make ourselves better. Unfortunately, a CC as you put it would take years as well but I think it would wake a lot of people up! Ronald Reagan never proposed a Constitutional Convention be convened. He did propose to Congress that an amendment to the Constitution be considered. It had to do with religious freedom and prayer. As President, he was not allowed to participate in the amendment process.

The President doesn’t have veto power over a Constitutional Amendment. I thought you spent 20 years on this?

Look, I don’t want to pick a fight with you windtalker. I agree with so much of what you say here but in this instance I believe you’re wrong.
