I still can't believe we have to argue this again, lower tax rates = more revenue. Lets put this in a way that some of you trolls can understand it. You want to buy this cool new video game to play in mommy and daddy's basement, so you go to the same store you usually buy your games at and the price is $80. Your friend comes in and tells you that they have the same game next door at $40, where are you going to buy it at. Same with taxes, a company would more than likely build were it will cost less in taxes, that means more jobs.If the company is already here and not bankrupt they will more than likely try to increase business, to expand, to hire more people that means more jobs, more companies and more companies hiring, means more tax dollars. Now a job is this thing you have to get when you must take care of yourself, I know, I know, that's something hard to understand when your a government loving liberal but when you grow up most people figure it out. Unless you have been taught and brought up by people who have lived on the government teat their whole lives.

Not wrong. If my taxes go up, I raise prices for my goods and services. That means you the consumer pays the tax. I only pass it on and if it is too much to pass on, I go out of business leading to more unemployment and less supply. You also get no taxes. The Clinton so-called boom came about because we had a tech bubble brewing where the markets were pumped up and everyone was making money for a short period of time. We also slashed the military as pasrt of Reagan's peace benefit collapsing the Soviet Union economy. The Clinton bubble of tech and the start of the housing bubble with fanny and freddy. But don't worry the bubble we are in now will burst, I just hope it's under the liberals watch who were the main producers od it. But I don't plan on participating in it. :)

jen...hate to burst your bubble, but over the last 100 years, Democrats have had the White House for 52 years, while Republicans have held it for 48.

in the Senate, Democrats have been in control for 32 years, while Republicans have had it for only 16.

and finally in the House...Democrats in control 34 years and Republicans 17 years.

so who gets the "credit" for screwing this country up for that last 100 years? since Democrats have had more time in control of the Presidency AND Congress, i'd say the winners have a "D" in front of their names.
