No contradiction, I'd go fully aware that safety would be an issue, and in fact there would be zero diplomatic support from the British Consulate currently. So far I find proclaiming that I'm Scottish, rather than English or US goes a long way. Celtic roots and all that.

The prospect of an Islamic takeover in the West is a bit silly if you ask me, even if there's a few nutcases who may have planned to take over the world from their front rooms in Croydon or whatever. Nowt happening soon and there's certainly enough other crap we should be worried about on the 'home front' instead of this fake concern for Iranian students.

I mean your Police are now paramilitary, spray peaceful sitting protesters at point-blank with pepper spray etc etc. You have 1/4 of the World's prison population incarcerated there. The Prison Industrial Complex. Cheap Labour. It pays to lock people up in the USA where liberties are stolen from people for nothing 'crimes', while the fraud goes unpunished at the top.

There is trouble ahead, and it's coming long before the Islamists will be in any position to take over the world.

I understand your dubious attempts to rationalize murderous behavior and imply the perpetrators are nice people in a difficult situation, just falsely accused (have you noticed the Youtube beheading videos - which those same 'nice' people are glad to take credit for, claiming righteous Jihad, in the name of Allah).

But it is difficult to reconcile the logic of statements you make, only two paragraphs apart:
   A) the "reality is they were killed because they were Americans in an Arab country"
   B) "Iran - leave them alone, go there for a holiday. I'm thinking about it." ...

Hummm, perhaps you want all us "haters" to just go and be "American in an Arab country", wait a minute, that's the formula for not only being killed, but it would be our own dumb fault, so no fault, no one to blame (at least you didn't blame an Israeli video maker).

You cite someone getting a 5 year jail sentence in 'Arabia', yet by contrast, Iran put (by various estimates) over 500 hundred students and other street protestors in jail, yet well less than 500 were released, wait a minute that means about some number, approaching a hundred by some estimates, received an "infinity" long sentence, some places call that murder, others (Islamic countries) just call it "keeping the peace". And I just remembered that video of a protestor being shot dead by a police sniper in Iran, during the protest, all on CNN, was that staged? And come to think of it, how long were those three American hikers "detained', oh but they were spys!

But one other thing I noticed in your writing explains why you are pretty casual about people being "killed because they were Americans". You are British (or lived there long enough to be use certain phrasing that suggest it). In either case, you are expressing a perspective that is common in the UK and Europe, which is along the lines of "we welcome our new 'Muslim friends', oops, they are imposing their idea, their will, their [Shira] laws in our country, what happened".

Eventually the UK (and most of Europe) will be under Islamic control, little by little, might take a decade or two. That's not speculation, a copy of the plan was captured in a safe house in Europe. You may elect to deny it, but that doesn't change the eventuality of it occurring. And sadly, the US will eventually follow, but "we won't go quietly into that dark night", as Mr. Thomas said. Unless more of the US wakes up, that is.

I like that you guys atleast do some research on Islam - it only shows me how much important the religion is - if not you would not give a damn about it but since you feel so threatened by it you keep learning about it but if it were not for your bias for wordly reasons i'm sure you would have liked it. Keep reading it and you will learn whats true from the false hood you preach. How come you don't mock other religions ? the answer is so obvious that you do not find them to be intellectually true. But Islam makes sence i'm sure since you understand about it and read about even if only to convinve yourself that its not true.

That list's repetitive and in places silly. So Mohammed had a name for his sword -shocker ! All religions try and push theirs onto others well meaning or not. No religion is free from tales and messages of conquest and victory.
The Christianity I remember growing up under was all about being kind forgiving and charitable, not bullying stealing and killing.
The Old Books, whichever you follow, should never be taken literally. They are hodge-podges of tales normally written hundreds of years hence..
Good messages throughout in most (the point), but not literal.

Logic tells me the very fact that so many Religions have sprouted, mainly independently, that none can be literally true, or, 'the one' if you like.
In fact every organised group of people in history has had one of some sort. People like to tell stories, and stories can change and twist very quickly in time. Especially if those stories can influence power and policy, money in other words.
I remember Beck taking a swipe at some Lizard God religion for being bizarre not long ago. Is it so much more bizarre than your own literal beliefs ?

Anyway, Sharia. I'm no expert but I know at a certain level it clearly becomes unacceptable. I believe that side of it exists at an extremity though. What I know as a matter of fact is, in Muslim Communities they are just that Communities. Thats disappearing in the West. Kids grow up with respect. They value everything. Crime is almost absent.
It'll be far from perfect but I never understand why a hard-line conservative can't at least acknowledge the positives there. It doesn't get more hard line conservative than Sharia !
Do you want the whole world to drown in the greedy self-obsessed porn drugs and rock'n'roll cesspool the West has become ?
You do don't you...

Speaking of Cheers! I've seen a few re-runs this week. You do 'get' comedy once in a while over the pond there, most I've laughed in a while. The perpetrators of the above should take note !!
Some priceless lines..

Frasier "Thanks for the cold one Sam"
Sam "No Problem"

No apology required, it is your point of view and without your input I never would have known it. Besides, I think there is hardly a person out there that has a reasonable inclination of the Bigger Picture, that does not get frustrated, upset, and sometimes passionate about theses situations. They are draining Sane Peoples' Minds into a slow Insanity at times...

The End Result - They gain more control and/or power over the common person!

I do not disagree that the Muslim Brotherhood is far from the best group to have in power, but maybe I would take your claims a little more seriously if all of your sources were not from Glenn Beck's incredibly biased media network.
