Santa is not a lie. Santa is a child’s first lesson in giving and not taking credit for it as we are instructed to do in Matthew chapter 6. Not only does one not take credit but allows another to take the credit for the gift happily and willingly. When my children no longer believed in Santa I explained this to them and turned them into the Santa who would gift people without taking credit.

Strange way of looking at it. We don’t do Santa in this house, either.  Our reason is that Christmas should be about Jesus and no one else.  And that’s what we teach our children.  You can’t get out of having to explain the legend of Santa Claus, so we’ve repeatedly told them the story of St. Nicholas, how he gave gifts to poor children as a way to honor God.  And how they should look to honor God in a similar manner throughout the year, not just at Christmas.

It was mystical and my Dad came alive during the holidays, embracing the story of Jesus’ birth and incorporating it into all the trimmings… lights for joy, evergreens for eternal life, Santa walking in the footsteps of the wise men bearing gifts. When our kids were young we put a tag on one present for them from Santa, as they got older it was a kind of “wink-wink” kind of thing – that santa brought them a present even though they knew better.  In order to keep the magic, we tell them that when they stop believing in Santa and the magic of Christmas, they start getting underwear and socks for Christmas!  We also have them make presents for each other and for us and help them pick out gifts for Toys for Tots.  We try to teach them that it is about the joy of giving and helping others.  Of course, you have to show that example all year long.

Actually, most of what he said is true. Christmas is supposed to be a day when mankind celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ the Messiah, but over the years Satan has used every type of diversion he could to divert people’s attention away from it’s true meaning. Santa Clause has been used to not only divert children’s eyes away from the birth of their saviour, but to also pre-condition them at a young age that telling ”good lies” or “little white lies” are okay if they’re used to make them happy. This is a lie from the pit of hell! For one thing, Jesus Christ was was NOT born on Dec-25th, but through proper Biblical interperatation, He was more than likely born just after Passover in September. Dec-7th is in fact, a Pagan holiday known as  the feast of the Son of Isis in ancient Babylon, and is just another trick that Satan has used as a pathetic attempt to mock God. Even the “so-called” Sabbath day has been changed by occultists many years ago. The TRUE day of Sabbath is in fact, Saturday. God rested on the 7th day, and we all know that Sunday is the 1st day of the week. Sunday is actually another day that Pagans considered significant in their worship of the sun, and was re-named the Sabbath in an attempt to fool Christians to worship God on a day known by Pagans to be the “black sabbath.” Do not worry about this though, because I’m sure that God understands, and many of the Orthodax rules pertaning to worship became obsolete after Christ’s birth and death. The Christmas tree is also a Pagan form of Idolatry, and there is mention of this in the Bible.

End game,  Who gives a damn.  I’m 65, I was raised to believe in God, and Jesus, with love and respect. I also, 1st xmas I can remember, not only having a lovley display of Jesus in the manger, but a beautifull xmas tree.  Until my younger sister was 7 she, as myself,and my older sister before her never saw our Tree until xmas mourn. Mom and Dad up all nite decorating it. That tree was a big deal, and yes very special up till 7 for each of us. And of cource Santa was part of that.  But 1st our Lord, we were taught, was the true meaning for Xmas.  DIDN”T disalusion me even a tiny bit.      Why do some need show how “educated” they are,? who cares. Let the warmth of the season, and good will toward your fellow man come to the forground.   At least for a little while.

Progress is made over time and there were many Blacks in even American history who were inventors and heart surgeons. Anything would have been possible. Equality has been established; the richest woman in the nation is African-American; the president of the country is African-American, so quit your whining, dig deep into the pockets of your expensive suits and make sure every little black boy and girl has a present under that CHRISTMAS tree this year. Another truth … If any of the “black brothas” in this country actually went to Africa and called them their “black brothas”, lets just see how many of them make it back without getting their throats cut or worse.  The truth of the matter is, their African counterparts are the most racist and bigoted people out there, so much in fact they are racist against other blacks who aren’t in their “clan” or “tribe”. The slaves that were here in this country, for the most part were treated as part of the family. They were well fed and taken care of. Most of them CHOSE to stay with their “masters” because of how well they were treated. The movie Roots was, I feel, an exaggeration of what happened. Yes, I admit that there were a few white folks who were indeed mean, but that wasn’t the majority. This country gives EVERYONE a chance at life, people have no idea how good they have it here cause we’re all spoiled rotten. If you want to see how things really are and appreciate this country, enlist in the military and do a tour of duty in another country, then you’ll see for yourself what this Country is and what it stands for and what you swore an oath to protect.

In the beginning of Jeremiah chapter 10 (old testament) there is a description of a false idol which curiously closely resembles a christmas tree. today, at the winter solstice, parents send their own children to the base of this idol to bow down and receive gifts. again, in the bible, the book of Revelation 22:15 includes “whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” with the whoremongers, murderers, and idolaters. Not just to lie, but to love the lie. It doesn’t say “except maybe the occasional little white lie”. Folks, santa claus is a lie, christmas is a lie, christmas trees are idols. Ecclesiastes 7:1 states: the day of death is better than the day of one’s birth, albeit, easter is a lie too, I won’t get started on that now. Don’t just hastily post piles of hatred upon me and think “boy that oughtta teach that hater” but instead do your research. Take Farrakhan out of the equation.  Now extrapolate truth from falsehood.  Once we’ve done that you have a choice without the color of prejudice, just intelligence.  At this point you can either choose truth or falsehood.  Here is where we as humans get bogged down, because we bring our cultural baggage with us and define truth from OUR cultural definitions, or falsehood from OUR cultural definitions.  Let us just look at truth as it is.  It is not Beck, Farrakhan, Limbaugh, or whoever.  Truth doesn’t beg for ratings or depend on adoration, often truth is ignored, especially if it is uncomfortable.  Sometimes truth shows up at your front door naked, toothless, unsightly, pale, malodorous, etc, yes, the “ugly truth”  like it or not, damn! it is the truth!
