I am middle class and I think it's appalling that the "rich" should be paying 40% in federal income tax. RIDICULOUS! What needs to happen is that the current tax code needs to be thrown out and a flat tax established, say 15% on all income. If you make more, you pay more, it's simple, do the math, 15% of a million dollars is more than 15% of 50,000. But in all fairness, I think Michael Moore, Soros, Maher, etc, should voluntarily pay 70% of their income to the government.
