Hmmm. Apparently I'm fooling greywolfrs, but that's not surprising. Glenn Beck fools his followers every day to think that he's a "populist," when if fact he's nothing more than a corporate shill for the Kock brothers and other huge corporations aiming to make this a corporate Republic.

I bet greywolfrs never bitched about it when Benny__Hill pulled this exact same tactic because he is an ardent, gullible support of reactionary propagandist Beck.

GLENN- After listening to all of the different angles concerning the "Spend are way out of a Recession", the "Fiscal Cliff" and now the "Debt Ceiling", I had a thought of how to further explain just how ( Wrong Thinking ) can be illustrated. If we are supposed to believe Congress and the federal reserve can create Trillions of Dollars out of thin air and bail out Corporation that are to big to fail, THEN why don't they just create a (( Massive Surplus in the Budget )). It would be like just writing in a fictitious number in your savings account with extra draft protection. It show how wrong the whole monetary system has been handled the last 50 years. News is just now talking about how the next two generations of Americans are going to be more indebted, more enslaved and more unsuccessful than their parents and grandparents. Why can't we just create a 21 trillion dollar surplus and divide that up and give it to the 50 State Capitols. It sounds good, but it is wrong thinking, actually immoral thinking and practically criminal thinking.

Agreed. I just didn't want to take credit for Jefferson's words. I just wanted to share them because they seem fitting for the subject. :)

Beck's not "crazy." He's manipulative. He wants his followers to oppose increases in HIS taxes, so that YOUR benefits can be gutted. He's a brilliant, deceitful propagandist!

use own critical thinking skills. look at voting records of people like rubio and bachmann and you will see they vote just like establishment fools like mccain and obama and graham and pelosi.
paul ryan/repub budget plan is virtually same as obama, still adds trillions to debt but just a bit less.
when repub know their vote is not needed like on obamacare, then they will vote against it as they know their numbers would not cause it to not pass.

Bold statements. Where's the proof?

I realize those are Thomas Jefferson's words, I also realize what he was meaning. You quoting them means you are saying the same thing. I am simply saying, in my last comment, that the single comment you made, quoting Jefferson, could have been accomplished by simply following the Constitution, as it was written. I agree with Jefferson on most things he said, but I was trying to put a modern face on it and show that following the Constitution, to the letter, would accomplish the same thing.

Those are not my words, but the words of Thomas Jefferson. The funny thing about it is if we would simply study all of the statements made by our founding fathers we would already have all the answers to our current problems. The politicians are not interested in correcting the nations problems. They are only interested in keeping all of us under their boot.

I hear what you are saying, but to be realistic, our government following the Constitution would have done the same thing. The War Powers Act is Unconstitutional, not having a Declaration of War from Congress is Unconstitutional, those two things were to prevent war on a whim. As far as spending goes, if the Federal Government followed the Constitution and only spent money on the few things the Constitution gave them the power over, we would never have this debt. Also, if we were never taken off the Gold Standard, we would not have this debt. The Gold Standard may not be perefect, but it was put in place to keep the politicians honest and it worked...

On another note, look at the left wing idiots on this site, including matt "the moron" driscoll. (who is not posting as "guest" and think no one knows it's him) After my post, all he can say is I have a lack of understanding about the issues of spending and revenue, yet never disputes my example. These are the same dolts that were crying about GWB over-spending 5 trillion over 8 years, but Obamao is over-spending at twice that rate and they say nothing. How do you get these morons to understand what you just said?
