The GOP isn't dead. when you say "It's dead" it sounds like it just keeled over and died of natural causes. It didn't. It was killed, or at the very least it was tortured, and left in a ditch never to get out. The culprit behind this? The Tea-Party. Now that they've destroyed the GOP politically, they can't use it anymore as their vehicle, so what do they do now? They've already started making their move to control the Libertarian movement. Running Tea-Party members who were considered "Conservative Republicans" as "Libertarians" now. Not a bad plan, except for one overlooked flaw. Libertarians have always had a simple, straight forward message. The Tea-Party isn't capable of that sort of thing. When, in 4 years time, you are hearing things like "I'm not a witch" and "Jesus told me to run for office" and other such famous Tea-Party noise coming from so-called libertarians, you'll know who is who.

With 3,000,000 less (G)OP votes in 2012 than in 2008 (the Demos got less votes too) and the highest third party vote in decades, it is time to establish an alternative Independent Party to replace the tax-eating hacks in the formerly "Grand" Old Party, so the borrow, spend, elect Demos have meaningful opposition to their crony-corporatist hyperinflationary policies.

Ron Paul showed the way in 2008 when he brought together the Four Principled Third Parties (of "left" and "right") at the National Press Club to announce an historic first: the four independent parties issued a Four Point Joint Policy Statement, which, had those policies been followed, would have stopped the Crash of '08. Didn't hear about that from the Media of Mass Deception, huh?

More here: http://vitaminlawyerhealthfreedom.blogspot.com/2008/09/political-breakthrough-third-party.html

The time is right, right now, for those who seek peace, prosperity and liberty, to come together, to form an Independent Alliance to restore the Constitutional Republic. A public figure like Glenn Beck needs to reach out to the leaders of the Libertarian, Conservative, Green and Independent (Nader) Parties and bring them together on the basis of the alliance begun by Dr. Paul. What needs to be proposed is that the Principled Parties retain their independence but cooperate on joint policy and candidates, where possible.

As the good doctor warns us, "All empires end badly..."

I'm 100% Libertarian and Gary Johnson being for open borders does not fly. There is a reason we have laws about immigration. The first one that stands out is countries could just send their criminals here so they do not have to spend the money on putting them in jail. They could just pass them off on us, then they commit another crime HERE and we have to pay to jail them. That is one example. Maybe you need to rethink your stance on open borders.

I agree with Glenn 100% and I have held this view for quite some time now. I will personally never donate to a political party. The only time I will donate money, is if it is going into the pocket of a particular candidate whom I like (that being a libertarian or conservative candidate). We as a nation need to move back to electing people who will represent the Constitution and our Independence rather than someone's wallet...

The majority in Congress are a mirror of ourselves. The majority of us do not manage and do not parent. We blame others for bad results, do not accept responsibility and believe we can do good things with other peoples money. Virtue became chronically ill beginning in the sixties (respect for the Sabbath was the first sign of the illness). Virtue died in1968 when the president and defense secretary took complete charge of a war - with congressional compliance.

Congress has been dead because virtue died and cannot be resurrected without the pain of admitting and undoing our sins!

Nice try and I call your bluff. Factcheeck.org says that the minimum assessment will be $695 per person (but no more than $2,085 per family) in 2016, when fully phased in. The amount can be higher depending on income. But there are exemptions for low-income persons and others.
Link
http://www.factcheck.org/2012/06/how-much-is-the-obamacare-tax/
And who will be affected by this tax the huffingtonpost says this. And the budget office analysis found that nearly 80 percent of those who'll face the penalty would be making up to or less than five times the federal poverty level. Currently that would work out to $55,850 or less for an individual and $115,250 or less for a family of four.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/19/obamacare-cbo-report_n_1898370.html
Now then with the price of healthcare went up by $8,402 per person and back in 06 $7,439 per person. Now I no facts are not helpful to a liberal mind so here is the cost of living in 2012 is 48,112 now you take that number and subtract that from 55,850 and I will do it for since math is hard for a liberal brain to understand so that comes out to 7,738 now subtract that from the average cost of health care is -664 dollars. Gee where is the average middle class person going to get the money maybe they can use monopoly money. Obama said it was a fine so what happen when you can’t pay for health care or the fine you go to jail moron until you pay off the fine with time in prison and I know people who could not so do yourself a favor instead of eating the lies coming from Obama’s alter of stupidity do some damn research before you make a fool of yourself. Like all left you don’t give a damn about us poor you guys can care less about us and we are waking up to your B.S.
