As to whether God is telling him to propose the idea of Independence, those are GB’s words not mine. It is in the video. As to my opinion that he has a messianic complex, those are my words, based on the past few years of listenning to him talk. He is no different than those self professed men of God  televangelists who have fallen from grace once their financial dealings were disclosed to their defrauded flocks. Many here think President Obama has a messianic complex; perhaps he does–that is the danger whenever you start believing in your own press releases–just like Beck does.

as to your suggestion that I do not like capitalism and should move to North Korea or Cuba, you are not only off the mark (I have a small business that pays taxes, tries to expand and worries about employees -just like any other average American); but a bit reactionary don’t you think? Critique of Glenn Beck is not the same as espousing communism now is it? Even if I was so talking, does not the First Amendment right to free speech so treasured by Glenn Beck, yet routinely ridiculed on this website whenever anyone disagrees with Beck,give me that right?

As to what is inside GB’s heart, you are right, I have no idea. I think I comment on what is in his head as manifested by his programs and statements. Beck may believe most of what he says; he may also feel it in his heart. I have always been skeptical about the self proclaimed leaders of movements who seek to profit from their self proclaimed status.
