I got respect for Glenn Beck, i think he tellis it like it is but the way he plays dumb dissecting the lyrics just makes him look stupid. Lupe is actually a great musician and of course the live version is going to sound like a ramble. Lupe essentially wants peace, and is tired of the way the last few presidents have conducted foreign policy.

Whoever said you had exclusively white ancestors? You are paranoid to the point of not listening to what other people say, think and feel. All I’m saying is this supposed equality among races that we have, where being black and white in America is the same in terms of having a good job, owning property or studying a good profession, is a fantasy. More than that, it is a dream. But it is a dream we haven’t achieved yet. And Beck saying we have only works against achieving it. Can you get that? For a black man in power doesn’t eliminate the greater economic trend in which blacks, latinos and other minorities get the shorter end of the stick in America.
