To Critten on here:
Imagine painting Chris Kyle with the same brush as that pathetic soul in Sandy Hook! Some people are mind-boggling. Chris Kyle was doing what this worthless government should have been doing - providing help for the troops with PTSD. They are an accident waiting to happen because they need help! Same as the guy that killed all the little angels at Sandy Hook - we need to do more for the mentally unstable/sick - get off the gun control thing, that's just feeding into the plans of this government to disarm the people (government tyranny anyone?), and demand help for the mentally ill.

RIP hero. My Welsh grandmother, Nan, used to say the good always die young. And in your case she was absolutely right. We are all only here for a short time, and we are all enriched by knowing there are men like you who will give up everything for their country. And their neighbor.

Our Father in heaven is waiting for you with open arms. Only He knows your heart. And, as they say, there is no greater honor than to die for your brother.

One final salute to you, Chris Kyle. Patriot. Husband. Father. American. Hero.

Critten, pray those men forgive you for your words. I suspect they will because they have hearts of love verses yours of stone.

It took me a while to put my thoughts back together to post, I lost a lot of sleep last night after watching this GB Episode! Because it touches home with me as a former Army Sergeant, and all those FRIENDS of Mine that have Died from serving in Combat Zones. But, it wasn't just the Combat Zone Abroad that was Killing Them, it was also the Combat Zones Domestically (maybe they live in a slum area full of Gang Bangers that are Killing Each Other In The Streets of America, they hear the gun shots [usually by pistol and not assault rifles], they hear the people screaming in pain, terror, confusion, and crying over those that have died. For a while the line between foreign and domestic war zones gets blurred, and before they know it... They are sweating because of the rush of Adrenaline going through their systems is kicking into high gear, and their minds start taking in everything around them that they might need to consider for the safety of their family and themselves. Their Hearts Beat Hard & Fast to the point of near panic, but because they have been in Combat the "Soldier" in them Kicks into gear. Reflexively they start taking action, and for a soldier on the Battlefield that first move is to procure your weapon [and outside sounds like a battlefied]. The next move is to Assess Threats and Friend From Foe [You don't have to be a soldier to do this because it is Human Nature, and it is this Human Nature Part That Is Hardwired Into A Person With PTSD and it doesn't go back into low gear.]. The Soldier then starts calling out for Family Members to see if everyone is okay or the victim outside. Usually, everyone gets called in and the situation levels off, the "Soldier" part calms down a bit but does not go away. By Nature the Soldier goes out and investigates the situation outside to decide how safe the family is, and even though things seem to have played out in their minds there is still a little doubt. That person does not sleep that night, worries about the future, because their country is not taking care of them. They are stuck in bleak conditions with no apparent way out, and after months and months of this going on they begin to lose Hope! And this is when the real problems start...). I have lost friends that Lost All Hope and did Something Stupid that caused them their Life! I have lost friends to Bullets from the Enemy, and a few to their own firearms! Either way, it was still the Combat that Killed Them! But, some could have been saved if their situation was better when they came home, than it was on the Battlefield. We need to help them get that Safety Net, Work, Friends, Family and Help them lead Productive Lives! Not Catergorize Them As People With Mental Disorders That Are Permanent...

Chris was not "playing" some sort of mental health professional. He was doing what he could to try to help a "brother" in need. It's easy for you to sit on your couch and judge his actions. Sitting on your couch is probably ALL you can do.

I saw a video with Chris and he was talking about lending a helping hand to our nations Heros and their families. He said, rather than a handshake and thank you, why don't you try lending a hand for something like mowing a yard, preparing a meal or even babysitting so that the families can enjoy a date night or maybe just a nap.

I fly quite a bit in my job and usually I am able to upgrade a cheaper flight to a first class seat. I have had the honor of swapping seats with a military member a few times and found it to be very rewarding. The military is usually in a cramped up seat towards the back of the plane and they lose precious time departing the plane that could be spent with waiting family members. They don't have the opportunity to ride in first class very often. So if you have an upgraded seat on a flight and see a military member enter the plane, ask them for their seat number and tell them that they are sitting in your seat for this flight.

If you know of a military family in your neighborhood or town, do something for them. Fix a meal, order them a pizza, now their lawn, see if they have something that needs repaired. If you can't fix things, hire someone who can. Shaking their hand and saying thank you is very nice and respectful. Actually doing something for them in return for their sacrifice is serving them. We need to serve those who serve us. One thing is for sure, your service isn't going to cost you everything!

You tramp on the grave of this decorated hero to bring up your political agenda and pretend that if we had gun control this wouldn't have happened. The only gun control that can possibly stop things like this is rounding up every single gun in the world which is completely impossible. You are an absolute moron. You call us hypocrites... let's try this... you are for gun control, so go and put a sign in your front yard saying, "A proud gun free individual lives in this house." Let's see how long you last. I'm sure you won't do this because it is you after all that is the hypocrite.
