Glenn, I think you’re wrong on this. Maybe you’ve met the dead man and know him other than as a person that shot and killed a lot of people from a long distance. But in my family we do not make heroes out of killers for our government. The first thought that came to my head was the words spoken on RP’s tweet. No joy! No real strong emotion, just sadness and disappointment for more senseless killing. Since I was a child and studied how our government treated the American Aborigine (Indian) I knew our government was always strongly suspect and that there is something seriously flawed in our system, as well as in mankind. There has been no nobility in any war, just deception and murder and all the sins of mankind — glorified.

Ron Paul isn’t described as the annointed one. Barack Obama is and frankly, I can’t see too much difference between the two in terms of attitude. Both say only their way matters and all others must bow down before them. You simply chose to bow to ne and not the other. Continue your ways. You’ll fail just as miserably as you say Glenn is failing. Your way or the highway? Well, life is a highway and I will ride it all night long. So long you poor lost miserable soul.

Ron Paul had a few good ideas but he was so ‘out there in la-la land’ on so many others. Glenn’s whole point is civility and obviously there is none of that left in this country anymore. The USA has not been fermenting hatred around the world – they’ve been trying to put an end to the tyranny of dictators. You people kill me – just listen to the people in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc., who have been annhialated by their dictators – they welcome us. America was always the super power (before Obama) that smaller countries looked to for help. How long can America stay insulated against evil (Muslim brotherhood, etc.) if we turn our backs on the world and think it will just go away. That’s what Ron Paul wants to do – it’s ridiculous and not possible.

No, you DON’T respect the sacrifice they make. Equating the actions of the US military to Nazi death camp overseers is not respect, it is hatred or ignorance. Take your pick. Ron Paul may have served in the military, but that does not make him knowledgeable or worthy of respect. I served in the military as well. It does not give either of us carte blanche to malign someone because they were in the military, much less because they served as a sniper. By the way, the military IS fighting for what they believe is right. They do NOT believe that they are committing murder, nor do they believe that they are being given unlawful orders. The fact that all Ron Paul’s zombies presuppose that 1) the members of the military are acting against their beliefs and 2) they are guilty of such low moral character that they are willing to commit murder in order to not stand up is disrespectful, hateful and plain foolish. Ascribing sociopathic behavior wholesale to hundreds of thousands indicates that you, Ron Paul and all his loyal minions are actually the ones who suffer from that particular malady.

David, how easily you condemn this good man and in the same breath reveal a depth of willful stupidity that is nearly indescribable. War veterans are murderers in your world, patriots are evil, 9/11 never happened, Osama bin Laden was a freedom fighter… . Where does it end? What are you not willing to say? What ridiculous psychopathic rambling will you spout to make a completely inane and unsubstantiated point? Military vets are not to be trusted because they are all murderers? Whatever the malfunction you people have, you have a penchant for prejudice, hatred and violence that is clearly manifest in your words. You know nothing about psychology, yet you make psychological predictions. You know nothing about honor, courage or sacrifice, therefore, you malign the honor, courage and sacrifice of those who not only profess to understand the meaning of those words, but LIVE them every day. I don’t know why you hate the military. I don’t care. You have a right to graphically illustrate the depths to which a Ron Paul Nazi will sink to. Unfortunately for you, all that really means is that you have the right to graphically illustrate for the rest of us just how truly deficient are the morals and character of the zombies who follow Ron Paul. I’d like to see some of these people who criticize the military say half the crap they do to their faces. Or to the families of those we lost in war, whether it be Iraq or WWI. All these same people who just love all their freedoms everyday, yet they bad mouth how war is murder. Well wake up Mr. Williams, because these “murderers” earned you the right to speak filth and own guns, or watch what ever you want on tv. Its called your rights and these “murderers” as you pin them to be helped for you to keep those rights….. If you don’t like it move to…. North Korea? And bad talk their military. I’ve been a libertarian for 30+ years and find these situations very difficult because no one wins here. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Paul and for Glenn Beck. I don’t agree with either one of them 100% and don’t appreciate their assessments at every turn, but I’ve always appreciated the effort by both to seek common ground on many issues. In the desire to make a point understood, unfortunate comments are made by all of us that we wish we could take back. (Never want to pass up an opportunity to keep the mouth shut if it’s not going to do any good in the end.) One can only move forward and give the other guy or gal a break and let it go. It’s up to Dr. Paul as to whether he feels he must stand by his comment (unnecessary since the incident didn’t take place in battle) when the situation is still so emotional and raw. It’s up to people like Glenn to let it glance off and let it go if at all possible.
