I read more than I should. Hyperbole. How does anyone that delusional make so much money? He talks about debt. Yes America has debt. Is it the largest debt ever, yes by numbers. We also have the largest GNP ever, something he forgot to mention. While the ratio of debt to GDP is high, it is not highest ever by a long shot. That was after WWII. What happened after WWII. Massive infrastructure investment by the government, education by the GI bill, homes by the GI bill and later on with Eisenhower, more infrastructure spending by the government with tax rates as high as 90%. People didn’t try to stop making money. Business didn’t stop growing.
People like Rodgers move out of the country to avoid paying taxes. They make a lot of money from our capitalistic society and when it is time to pay their share, they don’t want to. Beck is a crybaby, idiot, clown and so are the people that follow him.

How can farming be the way to go when this government can confiscate your land and tell you what you can and cannot grow.??

It will go the same way as it went with the Kulaks in Russia under Stalin. Farms will be confiscated, resistors will be killed. The resulting famine will be blamed on the stubbornness and greed of the farmers who refused to work for nothing. Food will be rationed. (Those in power will still get to enjoy their fancy meals, however.)

You are right, snowleopard, not many will be afforded the alternatives as Mr Rogers or glen might propose to survive. As best anyone can, if they can work, learn a skill. Electrical, automotive, computer repair or programming, all are skill needed in any society. The farming thing is a great example of a degree not wasted like a degree in social studies, political science, MBA, etc. With Agri degree, you will have all the college you need plus a real world knowledge useful to anyone on earth. As I started out, snow, you are correct. Ground your faith not in yourself, but in the person that God can and will make you and He will provide all your needs. That is a scriptural promise that you can take with you. Forget about to the bank.

Obama’s speech was aimed at his blind sheeple and they alldrooled in excitement. Imagine how many times Matthews must have shaken his leg. I bet he almost passed out! That is exactly what you hear today in the media. Obama cannot do anything wrong and tells his sheeple the truth.
