If it were not for slavery, what would the blacks life be like today over in Africa. As far as the Jews, their 400 years of slavery in Egypt allowed them to learn the necessary building skills, warfare etc. to enable them to grow in in numbers and eventually set up their own country Israel given to them by GOD. The Jews taken into captivity in Babylon also had benefits to those of later generations that served them well in finance and business. The ones who suffered privations were the ones who sacrificed for the future just as today people work their whole lives to build a future for their children and sadly the govt thinks they can steal it just as you say the white man stole the Indians land. There is no difference is there. Do you think that the Jews would have been able to gather enough support to establish the state of Israel without the horrors of the holocaust? Be honest.
