I live in the middle of nowhere and once someone tried yo come in my house I loaded a gun and called the police who stated it was probably nothing they were not coming. I was alone with 2 babies.. I had to call my landlord who sent farmhands out to check on the situation. The person had left. At that moment I knew I could shoot someone if I had to. I'm from Texas and did not realize at the time I could have been put in jail.
