I like Mr. Woodward, it’s a shame it has taken him this long to see the light. Maybe he can withstand all the threats and mocking and get down to business and report only what is important. Sequestration was Obama’s idea, to prevent the tea party extremists from defaulting on our debt in 2011. The Republicans voted FOR it, so they are just as responsible as anyone for undermining the recovery.

You’re not “waking up;” you’re not awake at all. Beck uses that false claim to con his gullible followers into ignoring the cause of America’s problems, i.e., corporate greed and malfeasance.

Another reason you’re not “awake:” you don’t recognize that Beck lies, that Beck exhibits hypocrisy quite often and that Beck’s “commentary” is pure propaganda.

Great article. In my opinion, the American people will not wake up soon. There are simply too many who do not care what happens to the economy or to anyone else so long as their “entitlement” continues. It’s the only reason why Obama was reelected. I’m watching him on Fox News right now and he’s already said that spending on entitlements increases the economy. He’s also lied about the sequestration. This was HIS idea, but all he is saying is that its the Republicans that are responsible for sequestration. He actually replied to a reporter who pointed out that he was the one who had put the bill on the House floor through the minority leadership that it WASN’T his idea, he was FORCED into a corner and had to sign a bad bill. When he was confronted about the bill sponsorship, he just ignored them. Pathetic. He’s also, right now, stating again, that teachers are being laid off today, janitors at the capitol building are being laid off, the economy is dying because taxes need to go up…this guy never stops. So I don’t believe for a second that the American people are going to wake up because there is no accountability here and they don’t mind the chaos because it means that they keep getting “free” stuff.

Suggest you take your own advice. Educate yourself. Try understanding the basics of money, and the fiscal/ monetary policy issues. Do you understand the differences? Fascinated that you specify two particularly liberal institutions. Hmmmmmm. Oh, just so you know, I’ve made some nice money in the market; but, the time is ripe to retreat a bit. The crash is coming. The approaching currency war is going to change everything you understand – which apparently isn’t much.
