And “indoctrinating children with religion” (as you so cynically put it)  is not tantamount to abuse; it is giving them a spiritual foundation and Code of Ethics to steer them through life. Life is hard enough even with these spiritual/ethical tools, but never being exposed to them? That explains MUCH of what’s going on in America and the world these days.

Bert, you say that whether or not someone believes in god or
the bible is of no concern to you, you don’t care. I’m glad to hear that but
the problem with people of faith (besides being delusional) is that most of
them care very much that others share their beliefs and feel the need to
promote them. The guy in the video said he wishes his particular religious tome
be read in public schools. I believe that indoctrinating children with religion
is tantamount to abuse, it’s bad enough people do it to their own kids but don’t
do it everyone else’s kids too.
