I'm not adjusting anything you retard. Steel v wood who wins? Government v ambiguous un-named landowners who wins? You are a fn naive little fucktard. The Government of venezuela is seizing property and when it does the landowner loses. If he tries to fight he is jailed or killed. period. These stories about murdered peasants are not worth the paper they are written on. If there are murdered peasants I would nsuspect some agitator hired by Chavez to stir up strife between the to parties. Chavez( insert your favorite asshole commie dictator here) rides in like a white knight, Save the poor little peasant and viola; See how wonderful communism works? My argument is sound; yours is pure pap and propaganda. Wealthy landowners indeed. What are their names motherfucker? If they exist at all they are not in venezuela or have already made a hasty retreat to friendlier whereabouts. Go smoke some pot you fuckin idiot.

Your quote doesn't point to murders - that only happened to peasants. Or are you now adjusting the argument (again) because your piss-weak argument has been shot down again?

"Rural businessmen and landowners are often the target of kidnappings and many feel threatened by the land reform." That quote from reuters the very story you cite. You are a fucking dumbass. Like I said "Land Reform" will soon mean the murders of lawful land owners, the siezing of their private property;which Chavez was very adroit at, and the implementation of collective farming. Next time don't quote a news article that proves my point. You won't look like such a jackass. Furthermore the oil revenues for venezuela are about 128 billion per year of a nation of about 29 million How does that square that some are still impoverished in a country so flush with oil cash. I'll tell you. It's called robbery. The elite at the top of the communist ponzi scheme always seem to have fat bank accounts while the rank and file are relegated to hard labor and table scraps. Chavez was just another in a long line of brutal thugs now just a pile of unuseable carbon. Good thing he was an atheist he might be facing an angry God.

I'm not talking about the past--Chavez is dead. I'm talking about what WILL happen in the future. The elections were a farce and everyone knows Chavez was a dictator. He controlled the country by using the military. Now that he is dead there will be a decline in the economy and the country will revert back to its age old history of revolution. Those that wanted Chavez out of power will fuel the discontent of the poor--- as you say the "backlash". "Popularity' with the people of Venezula depends on corruption(who gets paid off or killed) and what they are told to believe by those in control of the media. As a country--- Education of the masses is not one of their strong points. The rich and wealthy left the country when Chavez came to power. Or they were imprisoned, killed and their property and money confiscated. In less than 5 years there will be a revolution--history repeats itself over and over again in these third world countries.

The landowners were indeed going around murdering peasant farmers http://www.reuters.com/article/2009/10/02/idUSN02205402._CH_.2400 Your point about me being an 'extreme dolt' is ironic, given the question you go on to raise. If, as you and Glenn are trumpeting, Chavez was a brutal dictator, then he would indeed "just go arrest and execute the "Landowners" " The fact that he didn't "just go arrest and execute the "Landowners" " sort of points to the process being different.

So, to summarise - by your own argument you've shown that the land reform process wasn't the act of a brutal dictator, and by evidence I've countered your assertation that landowners were murdered by showing you that it was peasants who were murdered by landowners.

On to the fantastical 'night of the long knives' theory behind him coming to 'absolute power'. I take it you refer to him being elected by 56.2% of the electorate in 1998? And absolute leaders don't bother with elections, do they? And if they do, they're usually scams that lead to 99% approval ratings. Whereas 59.7% (2001 election) and 63% (2007) indicate a healthy opposition, as well as growing approval of his leadership.

If you've any other things you're thinking about, may I suggest trying this - the exact opposite of what you're thinking is probably correct. At the very least you'll be starting from a position that won't leave you looking *quite* so stupid. Just don't bother coming back with more unsubstantiated crap, eh?

Nope. They call us hypocrites when the biggest hypocrites of all are themselves, lol. They can do nothing but deflect their own inadequacies on others.

So the landowners, they have their own gand? Do they where wind breakers idenifying them as "Landowners"? you are an extreme dolt. If chavez were such a big hero of the people, Why not just go arrest and execute the "Landowners"? No. It's all BS. Truth will come hobbling along bloodied somewhat but it will come out. Totalitarians do not acquire absolute power without some "night of the long knives". Good retort by the way. You almost hurt my feeling.

Wow, somebody's got so mad s/he needs to go and have some warm milk or something. A communist? Wrong, so you're corrected there. Amoral? I think you need to re-read our discussion vis-a-vis land-reform and murder. Then you'll discover that you began by accusing peasants of murdering landowners, to which I replied by pointing out that 250 murders were committed; but it was landownders mudering peasants. Which now makes me the amoral one for pointing it out to you, it seems? Try better at understanding the English language and you mightn't look so stupid in future (no promises there, mind, you're pretty prone to looking stupid) From your position of ignorance and rage, being called a dolt is high praise as it's still a fair few rungs up the intellectual ladder than where you're residing. You want me to quote sources? You'll have to do so too, in that case. What else? I'm gay? What if I was? It'd only mean that you were being shown up by a gay man. How lucky for your overblown pride that that's not the case. But interesting that you should be interested in that - maybe you're curious? Have a lie down and a think about that one.

It would have been so cool if President Obama has attended the funeral Hugo Chavez. The looks on the faces of Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, John Boenher, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and the entire staff at FOX would have been Priceless
