We were respected when we did that. (Talk to people on welfare & see how much loyalty they have to our country compared to their sense of entitlement.) We really don't know what goes on behind the scenes with some of these Islamic countries because they can't come out as being pro-western without being killed. All we know is there was no threat until Jimi Carter sat back & let the Shah & his army be taken out. Now Obama has taken out any security we had, even leaving the Dr who gave him bin laden to be taken prisoner while he basks in the glory of himself "bringing bin Laden to justice." Even Gadafi was as afraid of radical Islam as he was of the USA & killed our enemies. We are in trouble just as you say.
