Taylor Swift had a great year. Her new album, ‘1989’, was the top-selling album of 2015. She topped the charts with multiple hit singles. She went on a successful worldwide concert tour. She disrupted the music industry by pulling her music from popular streaming platform Spotify, and saw fans embrace the move at a time where everyone thinks free music is a right. With all this success, it’s easy for an artist to forget the people who help make it all possible – the fans. But Taylor spent her holidays embracing those who have embraced her art.
Hours before ringing in 2015, Taylor dropped a heartwarming video showing how she personally wrapped and sent gifts to some of her most loyal fans. In some cases, she hand delivered them herself.
The video describes:
2014 was the year of many wonderful things for Taylor and her fans.
Shortly after the massively success release of 1989, fans on social media began to experience another phenomenon. After something that became known as #TayLurking, whereupon every detail of a fan’s likes, job, whereabouts was studied intently… A single Santa emoji would appear on their socials.
From one Taylor Swift.
….these are their stories.
So far, the video has been viewed over 5 million times on YouTube.
