Over the weekend, Glenn met Sen. Marco Rubio for an off the record one-on-one meeting. Rubio’s one of many Republicans hoping to be the GOP nominee in 2016. Glenn shared his thoughts on the candidate on Facebook shortly after they talked.

I just spent forty minutes one-on-one with Marco Rubio.

I have met a lot of politicians and a lot of really good frauds.

He was one of the most normal, kind and genuine people I have met.

I am not saying I agree with everything he said, but it was a private off the record conversation and not once did I feel like he was lying or pulling a focus group line.

I really liked him as a human being. First hurdle for me passed with flying colors.
