To alleviate tension in the sole of the foot, place a golf ball on the floor, put one foot on the ball, and place as much weight on the ball as you can without making it too painful. Begin moving your foot in a circular motion for 20-30 seconds. Switch feet and repeat this exercise. Perform this exercise 3-5 times per week.
