It's just a little different when you read things with the full perspective, isn't it? If you were a visitor to the liberal hack blog Media Matters, you would see that type of misleading and untrue reporting is standard practice for the shameless site. The "controversy" surrounding Rush Limbaugh this week was just another day at the office for Media Matters "for America", as they took his words so far out of context to create a "story" that would make even Dan Rather blush. Here is how the MM headline read:

Limbaugh: Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are "phony soldiers"

Here is what Mr. Limbaugh actually said.

Media Matters will try to distract from the fact that Rush was obviously talking about actual "phony" soldiers (those who are scamming people by pretending to be real soldiers) by saying 'look, he edited his response!' The response is edited, but content pertaining to the "controversy" was kept. The gap was 95 seconds before he gives the full phony soldier story. Nowhere does he say anything remotely close to what the MM actual headline reads.

That didn't stop the Democrats from trying to pull an Imus all over again, this time on Rush---as they actually took this garbage directly to the Senate floor. Take a look at some shameless Senators in action. First up is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who is wasting taxpayers money by drafting letters to CEO's at Clear Channel. Watch Video.

And Senator Tom Harkin, who (on the Senate floor) pondered 'was he high on his drugs again?'. Senator Harkin, where is that sensitive liberal in you? Watch Video.

The most interesting part of this whole story is the fact that Media Matters for America behaves like they are an independent watch dog group. Well, like pretty much everything else they do, it's not true. Who helped start liberal activist site Media Matters for America? Hillary Clinton. Don't believe it? Well, then take her word for it. Parties Hijacked

The far left has hijacked the democratic party. With activist groups like MoveOn controlling the dialogue, the rank and file politicians are forced to step in line or else they don't get the support. By doing things like inviting crappy documentary filmmaker Michael Moore to the Democratic National Convention in 2004, democrats from the FDR days wouldn't even recognize the democrats of today. Surprisingly, extreme wings of the party have managed to hijack even the political parties of our founding fathers while they were in office. Is the government coming for your gun? It sounds crazy until you look at what has happened around the globe. Countries that used to have similar gun laws to ours have taken away many of those freedoms. That's what happens when you don't have the second amendment in your country. But even though we do have the right to bear arms, if we don't remind our politicians about it we could be on the slippery slope to becoming Canada or England when it comes to gun laws.
