On Today's Program
Excellence in Broadcasting
The greatest radio broadcaster
of all time, Rush Limbaugh,
graced the airwaves of the Glenn
Beck Program today and talked
about everything from the
historical Harry Reid smear
letter to the Maha Rushie's
choice for president in 2008
(hint: it's NOT Dennis
Kucinich). Tomorrow is the
deadline for bidding on the
actual letter Senator Harry Reid
wrote and had signed by 40 other
liberal senators including
Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
If you are interested in making
a bid---you better be a player.
Bidding on e-bay
is at $117,100. All of the
proceeds go to a military
charity and Rush will match the
winning bid.

Airport 'in' security
In most fields of employment,
excusing failure 60% of the time
by saying 'well, last week we
failed 70% of the time. We are
improving!' usually results in
mass firings. The same logic
does not apply in the
government, however. When a
report showed that 60% of fake
bombs designed to test security
at airports made their way onto
the planes, the government spun
the report in a positive light,
noting that they had improved
from last test. They also
pointed out that the test was
unfair because it was a 'hard
test' and 'didn't take into
account the progress we made'.
Welcome to the purple pen
society, folks---wouldn't want
to hurt anyone's feelings!
Although we apparently don't
mind hurting the fuselage.

Demagogue Glenn Beck
Ron Paul recently said in a
press conference destined for
YouTube (and YouTube only) to
the tens of people in attendance
that his standing up of Glenn on
national TV was a result of
'miscommunication'. What
actually happened was Paul had
agreed to date the fat chick
(Glenn) and then got a call from
the hot cheerleader (Wolf
Blitzer). That's not a
miscommunication, that's a wise
media move. Ron, you should tout
your media savvy! Even though he
called Glenn a demagogue, he
said he would probably appear on
a future episode of the Glenn
Beck Program. Can't wait!

Super-Bug
Just what the world needed. With
everything going on around the
globe we now have to deal with a
super virus that's not only
resistant to medicine, but
finding it's way to healthy,
young patients in their own
communities. That's a perfect
recipe for a media orgy. Glenn
wants the media to stop with the
yearly disease scares---it's
distracting from bigger
threats---like crazy dictators
with nukes.
