On Today's Program
NBC's green halftime
Thank goodness for YouTube,
because words alone cannot
express the complete lunacy of
NBC's green halftime show Sunday
night during the Eagles/Cowboys
game. To conserve energy, the
hosts broadcast the show using
candlelight. It's a good thing
they conserved all that energy
because the rest of the segment
wasn't quite so green. Not only
was there a giant plasma TV
screen on behind the hosts, the
giant plasma TV screen was being
used to show the reporter --
Matt Lauer, who was on
assignment (live) from the
ARCTIC CIRCLE. But don't worry,
ladies and gentlemen, NBC
probably purchased some fancy
carbon credits!

Don't you feel greener already?
If not, take a look at our
wonderful
Hydro-Carbon Powered
Eco-Vehicle Sticker.
It basically means your car runs
on gas, but the environmental
dopes will think it's something
green friendly. Put it on your
gas guzzler and see what kind of
reaction you get!
Brady's bunch...of models
It's no surprise that Tom Brady
(good looking, star NFL
quarterback) is running around
dating just about every
supermodel that ever lived. What
is surprising, however, is that
his current supermodel
girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen,
says she does not want to be
paid in U.S. dollars anymore. Is
it possible that this supermodel
listens to Glenn, and is
becoming skeptical about the
value of the dollar? Or is she
just tired of receiving her pay
in the form of small bills in
her G-string? It's not entirely
clear, but what is clear is that
Glenn is now questioning his
opinion on the dollar. Could he
really agree with some random
hot model?

For background and accuracy
purposes only, here is a
complete profile of
Gisele.
Friend or Foe?
Pakistan is one of those
countries in the middle east
that we, as a whole, struggle
with. On the one hand, they
profess to be our allies in the
war on terror and have done many
good things on that front. On
the other hand, President
Musharraf is allegedly arresting
'political foes' which Glenn
finds troublesome. Do we have a
real friend in Pakistan? Or are
we just stuck in the age old
'the enemy of my enemy is my
friend' relationships? Either
way we should figure it out
sooner than later, because if
they are indeed foes we could
save the billions of dollars in
aid we keep sending them ($11
billion since 2001). Glenn
scratched the surface on the
five lessons we should learn
from our relationship with
Pakistan, and here they are. The
full details to follow in
tomorrow's newsletter . . .
Lesson 1: You
can't trust military dictators
to actually do what they promise
to do
Lesson 2: You
can't trust or make deals with
militant Islamic Extremists
Lesson 3: 'No Go
Zones' are unacceptable and
accommodation has its limits
Lesson 4: Nuclear
weapons complicate things
Lesson 5: No
crisis is too important to avoid
political pot-shots
Blacklisted by History
Here is a book that has Glenn
torn---he wants to read it, yet
at the same time he doesn't. The
book (Blacklisted
by History: The untold story of
Senator McCarthy)
is great and has lots of
compelling factual information
that proclaims Senator Joseph
McCarthy had his image wrecked
and wasn't really the 'witch
hunt' guy he is pegged as. But
to get there, it's a dark and
dirty tale of high powered
officials taking documents from
the archives, Soviet spies
infiltrating our government and
much more. Glenn doesn't really
want to be taken to the place
where he has an even lower
opinion of our government as a
whole. But, does he have a
choice? (Insiders
listen here
to find out).
Five more years of Glenn
Glenn's radio contract
negotiation with Premiere Radio
Networks has finally been
settled, leaving you with at
least five more years of
everyone's favorite evil
conservative hatemonger. Glenn
insists that this contract
proves the conservative ideal is
true---if you believe in
yourself and rely mainly on
yourself, instead of waiting
around for someone (or worse yet
the government) to do something
for you, you can and will be
successful. Glenn, like every
other American, had personal
life problems to deal with,
years of success and failure,
yet still managed to climb all
the way to the top. That's the
great thing about
America---anyone can do it!
