These are great, great, great just recently I said to somebody we don’t have heroes anymore, they are all falling away. We need heroes. We need to be able to teach our kids heroes and not heroes that have a really, really dark side to them as well. New York Times best seller, Ted Bell, paperback everywhere.

PAT: Also if you have kids in school, this is the day they can really get a hero.

GLENN: Did you read the president’s speech?

PAT: Yeah, that he’s going to address in about an hour and a half or so?

GLENN: I don’t really have a problem with it. Did something jump out at you?

PAT: No, it looks pretty innocuous, wash your hands, educate yourself, work hard.

GLENN: The problem I have with this is what are the teachers going to say afterwards. Let’s not idolize the president of the United States, but I don’t really have a problem. As long as there’s no indoctrination in there.

PAT: Exactly.

GLENN: As long as there’s not this. Where is this. Do you remember the video that we played last week or the audio that we played, do you remember the, where they say, "I pledge, I pledge, I pledge." Do you still have that?

PAT: Yeah.

VOICE: I pledge… to be a servant to our president.

GLENN: Okay. That pledge, that was played at Obama’s inauguration. But it was also played at a school in Utah. This is the kind of thing that is insidious. On this this came from a watchdog. On this video it says USAservice.org. Go to USAservice.org. Then it jumps you into service.gov. Why do you have to have USAservice.org which by the way, if you go there, it collects information. Then service.gov. That then goes into national service.gov, a catalyst for change. So each along the way each one is gathering information on you, but it’s no longer community service. It’s national service. Taking you further and further away from your own community. These are the kinds of things that concern me. Because I think that there is something and you will see on some of the other czars that we’re going to bring forward, we’ve already brought them forward but we’re just going to keep drilling down and drilling down and drilling down and drilling down and see what’s at the bottom of this because we’re looking to understand the president’s policies.
