Third Highest Rated Radio Show in America Continues Rapid Growth

LOS ANGELES, April 8, 2008 – Premiere Radio Networks announced today that The Glenn Beck Program continues its remarkable growth by adding its 300th radio affiliate – 760 KFMB-AM/San Diego in the 9 a.m. – Noon PT weekday morning slot.

Beck commented, “I’m thrilled that we’ve reached the 300-station mark. However, I’m even more proud of the quality of our affiliate lineup. KFMB is one of America’s great radio stations and is a prime example of that quality.”

Dave Sniff, KFMB-AM program director stated, “Glenn Beck and KFMB San Diego fit perfectly!  He is a natural storyteller who blends pop culture, political commentary and personal experience into a presentation mix that I’m certain will bond instantly with the Southern California listener.”

About Glenn Beck

In addition to being a leading radio personality, Glenn Beck is the host of a hugely successful self-titled television show on Headline News; the publisher of “Fusion,” a monthly magazine that boasts tens of thousands of subscribers; a contributor to ABC’s Good Morning America; and a #1 New York Times best-selling author of “An Inconvenient Book: Real Solutions to the World’s Biggest Problems.” Making his radio debut 30 years ago at the age of 13, he was a successful Top 40 DJ for many years.  However, by the age of 30, Beck lost his passion for radio due to his alcoholism and drug addiction.  Upon gaining sobriety, he discovered his enthusiasm for talk radio, and took his career in a new direction.  Eventually, he assumed the 18th position time slot at WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida, and took it to the #1 position in his first year, giving the station its highest ratings ever.  Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks offered Beck the opportunity to go national.  In Jan. 2002, The Glenn Beck Program debuted on 47 stations.  Today, the show is heard on 300 stations and on XM Satellite Radio.
