I have read the Bible numerous times, and studied it exhaustively, and have asked the Lord for his guidance and to open my mind and heart while I read and feed on His word. One thing puzzles me about this “Rapture” that people talk so much about. I realize the word “rapture” does not appear in the Bible even one time. Please, will someone please show me exactly WHERE this is supposed to be in the Bible, where we are whisked out and up?Yes, I know about the passages in Thessalonians. I Know it says that we will meet the Lord in the air. The people that talk about the rapture speak as though we are going to be swept up and hidden away in the heavens until the tribulation is over. I HAVE read where Gods Church will be led into the wilderness and protected and nourished for “a time, times, and half a time”. It doesnt say we are going to be taken to heaven to be protected. In fact, NOWHERE does the Bible say we are going “to Heaven”. On the contrary…it says that Heaven and earth will pass away, and that Jesus Christ is going to bring a new heaven and a new earth, where HE will reign forever and forever. Please show me where these rapture theory’s are in the Bible? Thank you so much for all your help!

Can I ask why it must be the King James Version? Our Lord Jesus spoke Aramaic, not the “Thee”s and Thou”s of the KJB. The WAY it is written is not nearly as important as the MESSAGE of God, and the soon coming eternal Kingdom of God Almighty. The King James version was written in the language of the old english. Its the message that is important. Am I correct? If not, please tell me. I am not being flip…I am totally sincere.

I have read “Can America Survive” by Pastor Hagee. It was a great “read”. We watch his sermon EVERY Sunday, and believe him when he speaks. However, when we were watching him a couple of weeks ago, he said something that wasnt true, and felt like he wasnt being 100% truthful. He stood there and said, for all to hear, “I assure you, there is not ONE THING in this book (the Bible) that needs to take place before the Lord Jesus Christ returns”. This isnt true. What about the 2 witnesses? They have not appeared, at least not to OUR knowledge. We love Pastor Hagee, and more than that, we RESPECT him and his teaching, but this struck us as being out of sync. What do you think? Am I wrong? Please, I respect your answer, and I am not being a smart alec. I am just confused, and am reaching out for help. Please dont think I am being flip, because I am not. Thank you for your answer, and thank you for your inspiration.

What you said was beautiful and I feel the same. It’s funny, because I just posted a comment about standing together and uniting as one. I am trying to get a blog going & want to connect with as many people as possible. I say that our diversity is not our weakness, but a strength if we embrace it with a little understanding. We don’t all have to agree on everything, we don’t even have to understand another person’s viewpoint, so long as we can accept and respect it. (As long as malicious intent is not the fueling fire of a person’s thoughts or actions). The devil has been at work, but guess what? So has God and His army…I am also ready for God to call me into battle whenever He needs me. I am one of God’s soldiers, here to protect, serve, and combat evil and those attempting to destruction of America.
