I was amazed he was so personable to me and to each person I saw him meet. I hardly noticed the wait because I was nervous and excited. As he signed my book I forgot everything I wanted to tell him (just like Ralphie when he went to see Santa in Christmas Story) The only thing I managed was to tell him the truth, that he is a National Treasure. He said thank you, shook my hand, and I was so touched by his sincere manner and kind eyes, I walked away more certain than ever that he is a most special individual. After he signed my book, and while he was shaking my hand, I spoke to him. There was this incredible kindness in his eyes.  I found myself nearly mesmerized, so much so I forgot half of what I wanted to tell him. But, at least I had the chance of telling him that I promised we would meet again. Such an incredible man, that God has sent several of us to watch over him, healers so to speak.
