William Ronald Mast, Jr., age 23, of Boone,NC passed away Thursday morning, He was a Deputy with the Watauga County Sheriff’s Department and shot, mortally wounding him, while responding to a call. He is survived by his wife, and his unborn son, William Hunter Mast. As president of Watauga Gun Club I was approached bt concerned parties about raising funds for the surviving family and immediately started a fund raising. I remembered “Restoring Love” starting this weekend and not being able to get away from here to participate, I feel like I have now participated in my own way in my community and I write this as I feel the tears falling down my cheeks. I feel so for this family that he was taken from but the community is coming together for them.

I too have 2 tickes – live in R.I. – won’t be able to go…husband still unemployed and we are barely getting by. I am home taking care of my disabled daughter. Offered to give these away…on 9-12 RI group, my fb page…I guess others either have tickets or are not going. This state is predominately Democratic…but that doesn’t mean we all are. Some democrats are good, just as some Republicans are good -what I am not willing to do is sell out to a communist. Can’t wait to cast my vote on election day.

If I ever have the opportunity to meet Glenn at a book signing, I will ask him to also sign my tickets that I have to Restoring Love….I will be watching on GBTV in spirit and prayer.
