Rick Perry on the border

Before Rick Perry gave his big CPAC 2012 address, he stopped by bloggers row to spend a few minutes with the new media crowd. Kenan Knight and David Nicholas of Future Voices of America, a group based out of Atlanta, got the opportunity to ask Governor Perry about the growing violence on the border–an issue Glenn has been shinning a lot of light on lately.

You may recognize the name Future Voices of America from their work with Mercury One. David Nicholas is the face behind the Restoring Love news updates.

I hope he keeps fighting for our country. Sorry he got out of the process but I am proud that I was a big supporter.

Rick Perry was the only one of the early candidates with a job.  A rather big job.  Not the governor of Massachusette, about the size in area and population as the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, with much less diversion.  Funny nobody, including Perry ever mentioned that.  His lack of speaking skills ruined him.  He could beat Obummer any day in an honest debate.  Obummer’s skill is that of “reading” his teleprompter, but not thinking for himself.  Try to find a sample of his speech when the teleprompter fell.  So hilarious!!!  Too bad all his advisors are Marxists.  This isn’t Perry, who was an air force pilot, served his country and state in many ways, has every credential ever thought of, including a birth certificate and we know his school records, even though he never pretended to be a scholar.  How can we ever know Obummer’s records since on his meager salary, he paid over $2 Million to have all his records destroyed.  Wow, how impressive.  But I would vote for his White half, any day.  His Black half hasn’t done too well.

The real shame about this race is that we don’t actually know just what the hell anyone of them truly believes on any one issue. All we get are political answers. If they actually thought about the issues the answers could be simple. Are they all lawyers or what!

First realize that political campaign advertisement and speechs are exempt fpr truth in advertising laws. Our great lawmakers wrote the laws that way. So they can say anything at any time during the campaign. Actions speak louder than words so get on the web and find out what their actual voting record is.

Newt Gingrich is the perfect example. He talks the conservative talk and the votes for NAFTA that weakened the borders, GATT that made the US subject to the jurisdiction of the World Bank, he voted to take over 57 million acres of Alaska’s mineral and timber lands to make them federal park tourist destinations, his yes vote to form the Department of Education was one of three votes that if they had been no instead would have stopped that federal agency from existing when even a Democrat pointed out during the debate that there was no authorization in the Constitution for the federal government to meddle in educational affairs.

As far as Romney goes, he says whatever fits the audience he is addressing so you can’t tell what he’ll do by his words because his positions change faster than a sand dune in a gale – which ever way the wind is blowing in that place at that time.

Look at their voting records. That’s the only reliable source of what they will do once elected.

I don’t know what happened to Perry. He’s great. I don’t think he gave any political answers to anything. He did screw up in the debates. BFD.

He is a committed 10th ammendment Constitutionalist. Thats what we need.

So, with no Perry, we have Santorum,  a great candidate.

I truly agree!  But his ego will never let him admit it! Let’s see ho he talks now he lives with us in Texas!

Right after Perry dropped out Beck said (paraphrased) I like the guy, so glad he is back in Texas as my Governor…That didn’t make me real happy. I don’t know what has happened to Beck since he left Fox. Seems to be going the way of  a megalomanic.
