I agree. One show I would never watch is "Sex and the City". We were raising 4 kids in their late teens when this show was going on. It became increasingly difficult to curtail watching except that we shut down cable. Then it came out on video. During this same time Britney Spears came out with the "low cut" jeans and small tops. Every morning going to school was a battle with the dress code. I do believe that we need to shut down TVs if we want to raise our children with decorum. Something that seems to have been forgotten in this world or perhaps our country. Marketing corporate greed can't be allowed to continue running our families.

I think many of the actors on the show are extremely talented, but the venue and the media coverage have, unfortunately, caused the show to join the "me too" snorefest that is American liberalism. Is it really "edgy" if you repeat the same, predictable message that everyone else is putting out there? How brave exactly, do you have to be when your goal is to convince teens that their parents are the enemy, anyone who doesn't agree with liberalism can be publicly attacked, scorned, mocked, ridiculed and condemned with such wanton abandon that it brings to mind lemmings running as fast as they can to plunge over a cliff? Is it unique to illustrate how to deal with anyone whose ideas are different to use those same techniques in order to suppress free speech or values as "hate" and to portray the triumph of good over the evil bigots of the right, yet have nuclear meltdowns should one of those hated "righties" call someone a name? Sorry, but while the musicians may be brilliant, the storyline is boring and so predictable as be mind numbing. What would be "edgy" is exactly what Glenn wants to do. Portray the consequences of GOOD choices by teens over the easy choices that the media wants them to make. If consequences are always someone else's fault and only those who don't agree with them are accountable, it is boring. How about a teen who knows what is right, makes a mistake, and acknowledges that they did something wrong, then tries to make up for what they did? Or even better, how about a teen that does what's right...because it IS right. If Glenn can come up with a show with music, talent and the portrayal of consequences for bad decisions and the blessings of good ones, I'm behind him all the way on that.

Listening to the old media is like a trip to the comic book fantasy land of Bizarro World from Superman, You said what?? You can't be serious! Ha ha ha you are funny! Why do you all wear your clothes inside out, George Stephanopoulos, Andrea Mitchell?

The only way to stop the madness is to turn it off and the sponsers WILL MOVE TO THE NEW MEDIA OUTLETS THAT TELL THE TRUTH.

The initial idea of the show Glee may have been OK. Then, it got into the hands of the liberal

''artists'' who decided the show should be on ''the cutting edge.'' Bring into the plot lines all that

has been heard or written about what ''problems'' schools have. You know---what has been

talked about: teen pregnancies, drinking (and drugs), gay students---you know, the kind of stuff

the public wants to see---if they are teenagers or young people, or those who like musicals.

And I did watch it for awhile because I did like the musical numbers, but some of the story

lines turned me off, which I did to Glee---turned it off.

As if I would ever listen to anything the lamestream media has to say any longer. They wouldn't know the truth if it came up and punched them in their smirky little mouths.
By the way, Stu, couldn't agree more with you regarding Glee. Worst. Show. EVER!!!

Is it not self-evident that the media has overreached itself? Does anyone not see the degree we are subject to verbal shenanigans, unparalleled half-truths and bogus blubber? Moreover, we are at a cross-road while political deception among our evolving, political elite continues to hoodwink the American public. Happily, we can still vote, still question and still doubt those that insult our intelligence.

The media is corrupt. No doubt about it. They think that there are no consequences with teenagers drinking and having sex. If it feels good you should be able to do what you want. That is what is being promoted on Glee and that is what the media and Hollywood morons think. Until it comes to their on kids. When their kids hate them for being hypocrits and sleazebags then they will sing a different tune.
