Has anyone told these folks that while you have a right to organize and protest, you DO NOT have a right to move into said protest space and disrupt other people’s lives? And no one has the right to destroy someone else’s property. Period.
It’s a shame that our society sees fit coddle our children so much that they feel entitled to EVERYTHING, and God forbid, if they MUST work for it. So now they’re whining about useless college degrees and the cost of an education? Every generation has faced their own challenges, and what defines us isn’t how we protest and whine about it, but how we get thru it. Sorry, guys, you’ll get no sympathy from me. We’re still paying college loans off and neither myself nor my husband has been in school since 2000. I’m not looking for anyone else to pick up the tab.
We don’t have the “dream jobs” we were told we’d get with our degrees either. But what defines us is that instead of crying about it, we worked HARDER. We worked menial jobs when necessay, sometimes two or three. Then we started our own business. We aren’t rich. We struggle every month to make our ends meet too. There are no vacations or swanky retitrement funds. We drive OLD cars. We don’t have smartphones. What we DO have is self-respect and decency and humility. And a work ethic that we will pass onto our daughters. Nothing gets you nothing in life. There are NO FREE LUNCHES. Work hard, and you will be rewarded. Sometimes that reward isn’t monetary but a deep seeded knowledge that YOU will take care of yourself and your own, and YOU will rise above. There is no price tag on a piece of mind.

The insurance companies who may be covering the loss for damage due to violence will raise their rates to pay for it, but these idiots can’t think that far….

Even if Johnny Boy turns on the OWSers, they still have POTUS on their side.  If BO had been a middle of the road, bring us together type of leader and sided with the OWSers, that alone would be reason enough to reject him as presidential.  As it is this is just one more reason in a long list for firing him in Nov 2012.

Beck said his new, never before seen on TV, Greedy Based TV (GBTV) was going to compete with Jon Stewart and Beck was going to have better comedy programing this Stewart.
Didnt’ happen and Beck can’t compete with a comedy genius like Jon Stewart.  So don’t waste you money on crappy GBTV because it isn’t delieving what Beck promised.  LOL.

The day is coming soon when all these self-destructive losers in life’s little 5 minutes of fame and getting a little attention will end. Then what will they have accomplished?? NOTHING. Yes Suzanne and that would have worked here also…..EXCEPT one BIG difference. We currently have a sympathizing president who LOVES anarchy and attacking those who are christian, who work hard, who manage well and have nice ‘things.’ He thinks all these things are evil, UNLESS the liberal nonworkers have it….then suddenly money and things aren’t evil. So, don’t expect the liberal democrats in congress or in the WH to do anything about this. NOT even the rapes or murders.

DixieAngel…..should I assume you live here in the South also? I could be way off base but I am going by the “Dixie” part of your screen name. I live here In Mobile, Alabama and we have protesters camping out in downtown/midtown area. No violence as of yet to my knowledge. We are in no way comparable in size to NYC or any other big city but corrupction still goes on. The guy who headed up and organized the local protest group here is a professor of a college across the bay in Baldwin County who just so happens to be a socialist. If these idiots like communism/socialism/evilism so much, why don’t they go live in North Korea or Cuba?

Actually, no I don’t Leah. But a lot of my family does. It’s where my mother was born and raised, and Dixie was my grandmother’s given name. I live in California in the Mojave Desert. We have a handful of small cities and even smaller towns, along with some little places you could accurately call villages, they’re so small. Google the Victor Valley if you want to see more. For a couple of  decades it was the fastest growing part of Southern California, but the economic crash put a stop to that, not that many of us here are complaining. Much of the population growth consisted of people who came up from LA and Orange County. Too many of them wanted to do bad things to this area. The urbanites wanted to turn it into OC and the gangs wanted to take over. Most of us here just want to live a quiet and productive life. But to get back to subject, even though there are a few hundred thousand people spread out over the whole valley and we do have our share of crime, so far we haven’t been subjected to the type of disruptive behavior like in some of the bigger cities. I myself  moved here from LA nearly 20 years ago to get away from the crowds, crime and smog. When I first moved here I couldn’t believe how blue the sky was, now, not so much. Anyway, let’s all hope that decent people get fed up enough with this to let their elected officials know that they’ve had enough. I hope to God that mayor Villaragosa doesn’t get re-elected in LA, as I feel he’s almost single-handedly ruined what was once a great place to live by catering to the illegals.

There’s no such thing as “Anti-Abortion” only “Pro-Government” or “Pro-Choice.” Not every ejaculation deserves a name, and the government certainly doesn’t have the right to falsely claim they feel otherwise. You say you support the will of the people over the will of the government, yet you wish to give them the power over what we do with our own bodies. WAKE UP! You say you want to help your fellow man, yet you support drug testing for people on welfare. WAKE UP! Marriage = contractual ownership of another human being + government consent over our personal lives. The difference between Monogamy and Slavery is subtle. WAKE UP! Funerals = organized death. Charity = organized kindness. School = organized knowledge. Religion = organized hate. WAKE UP! Windows are meaningless. They are objects. Those are stores, who have “owners.” There’s no possession, only obsession. We do not own our “things,” our “things” own us. It doesn’t matter what puppet the corporations present us as our “President,” we are all just going to sit back and enjoy the show. There’s no such thing as the “deficit,” we didn’t vote for them to spend our money. No one approved of that. It’s not real. If the American people were truly tired of paying for it, they would all collectively stop paying their taxes and the government would be forced to the will of the people. But that won’t happen.
