So we basically we have another film from the socialist elitists of Hollywood that glorifies the terrorists of our own nation; the Ecological Liberation Front who want to annhilate humanity and civilization if given an chance…

Propaganda, once again we are seeing skillfully crafted propaganda for the changing and pressuring of society; realize something people, if a hollywood guru can think of how a regualr band of insane people can commit terrorists, the real ones have either already thought it up or are taking notes on how to do it as the film portrays.

This should be pretty clear: If you take advantage of the freedoms (formerly) guaranteed by our Constitution that allow you to protest non-violently and then you abuse those freedoms, you deserve to lose those freedoms for a reasonable amount of time. Time that fits the crime.

If you hide among non-violent populations and perpetrate violence from among them, you’re a terrorist and deserve to lose your freedoms for a reasonable amount of time.

If you destroy property, private or public, you deserve to have to pay for the destruction. If you can’t pay for the destruction up front, you should have to pay it off over time.

Conversely, if you’re in law enforcement on any level and you see crime being committed – such as code violations, destruction of property, violent and threatening acts, harassment, etc… – and you do nothing about it, you should lose your freaking job.

Also, the corporations, businesses, and individuals responsible for criminal activity need to be punished as well. Pollution in most forms is a crime, as it should be, and when the law is violated the guilty parties need to be appropriately punished.

Quite simply, the law needs to be enforced. The trouble now is, the legal system is getting to be so convoluted, and our rights are being trivialized so that enforcing the “law” can get to be a very relative issue.

Nothing in this nation will improve for the better until the great majority of us work together to clean house in elections and tolerate no candidate that does not firmly stand for blind justice, the rule of law, and the recognition of where our rights come from – God.

I like the “No one got hurt, no one was injured, yet I’m facing life plus 335 years…”  Tell that to the people who lost their homes or parts of their business to your terrorism.  Just because there wasn’t direct bodily harm doesn’t mean that “no one got hurt”.  You deserve every day in prison you get.

If I caught somebody trying to torch my business, believe me, somebody is going to get hurt.  Goes for that other kook group too, the Animal Liberation Front.

The film looks like it tries to blur the lines of right and wrong.  Any reasonable person knows that it is wrong to attack others and cause destruction, but when you deal with people who turn their teachings of global warming and the “bad consumer” into a fanatical obsession with “protecting” the planet by causing destruction, you get these kinds of delusional acts of terrorism.

Notice that the answer for living on the side of good does not involve answers that are within you and me.  The Bible tells us that the nine attributes of good are not the fruit of our spirits.  They only come from Jesus’ Spirit.  We must surrender our lives to Him and ask His Spirit to live through us in the faith that He is the Son of God and can do this thing we ask.   Refusing to accept any thought, word or action from verses 19- 21 is defeating evil.  Selecting all our words, actions and thoughts from the nine attributes of the Holy Spirit is allowing Jesus to live through us. 

Here’s how we each make our piece of the world more like heaven until God creates reveals the new heaven and the new earth he has promised those who walk in His Light:

Unfortunately, I think we can thank lawyers for much of the un-enforceability of existing laws. Law enforcement, and governments are often afraid to enforce many times when a threat of a legal response exists. Our so-called legal system has created a web of issues that cause many people to back down, and do nothing. And that does not even begin to touch on the healthcare industry and the added cost and time wasted when lawyers get involved…

What they so often forget is the fact that burning down the factories only strengthens the resolve of others. Then, many, many, many more trees, etc, will now be “sacrificed” to rebuild. The logic and rational of many of these folks is really warped.

Warped imaginations of what is a threat to this earth are not justification for wanton destruction of other peoples lives and livelihoods along with the very earth you claim to care about.. If your view is legitimate it doesn’t need the emphasis of a tantrum to be heard. I haven’t seen the fim but this segment seems to be only American atocities.  America does not inhabit the whole earth.  We are only a small piece of it.  There are other even more destructive people in other countries who have absolutely no regard for the rest of the globe.  Witness = the massive deforestation happening in South America.  Witness = a massive scorch earth policy in many countries simply to plant palm oil trees.  Witness = the destruction of habitat for human expansion into formerly pristine areas pushing the animal populations to the brink of extinction.  Witness = continued killings of our limited whale populations in the name of research.  I could go on but you get the picture.  Americans are not alone in spoiling this beautiful blue globe.  This ELF group needs to wake up.  Destroying anything is simply counterproductive.  I believe they need to get on their ‘soap box’ and speak to the world not wipe it out.  A simplification?  Maybe, but I believe that dialog is more productive than a punch in the face.

The Environmentalists confuse me. 

If we speak simply on issues, I can agree with just about everything. I mean, who’s for dumping toxic sludge into drinking water? Who’s for allowing toxic chemicals to be released into the air? Recycling makes sense. Looking for alternative sources of fuels that are cleaner AND more efficient is something that makes sense for the betterment of mankind. 

But where I diverge is how so much of it is manufactured. Sure, global warming has occurred. But there is no such thing as man made global warming. The audacity, the arrogance to think that anything man could do would affect global climate is absolutely ludicrous. However, the sun is active in these things, and does cause issues with our atmosphere. 2012, in fact, is believed to be a time for increased sun activity. 

The whole Al Gore referenced hockey stick graph has been exposed in Climategate. It was falsified data. Cherry-picked. Ignored basic things like..oh, I don’t know…clouds. Simply forgot about them and their effect on climate. How…convenient. 

The light bulb is another perfect example. These new bulbs are supposed to be for the betterment of society. But they are being mandated by government. Big cautionary tale, folks. When something is politicized, watch out. Has anyone ever read the directions of what to do should one of these light bulb marvels break? You need a HAZMAT team to clean the room. 

And what should happen in 20 years, when landfills are full of these things? Landfills will now be toxic dumps as they are filled with mercury. Developers won’t be able to plow over them to build a housing complex anymore. Love Canal X 100. 

I am an avid hiker. I like to mountain bike. I love the outdoors. I have to admit, when I didn’t know any better, I was a member of the Sierra Club, too. 

That is, until I read an editorial where this twit was writing how there were too many people in the world, and if we could just find ways of limiting human reproduction, then the whales would be so much better off. 

It was then that I realized that the Sierra Club is one big leftist political organization that just so happened to donate to some environmental causes and legally try to prevent development. As soon as I read that article, I cancelled my subscription. And renewed my NRA membership. 

I can agree with clean water and air. I acknowledge that the sun does indeed effect out climate.  I’d like to get off of foreign oil, and letting the markets create viable alternatives (that don’t effect the price of human food, sorry ethanol) is the kind of innovation that the United States used to lead the world in. I think that recycling makes sense. 

But I’ll be damned if some wacko in San Francisco or Seattle (sorry, Glenn) is going to tell me that I HAVE to do it his or her way. Some Nanny-statist Pelosi or Bloomberg is going to tell me that I can’t buy my choice in lightbulb, or that I am wrong if I want to buy an American made, gas guzzling muscle car or Hummer with a V-8.

Many people misuse words when they are attempting to say or write something they’ve heard but never read or written before, but what is the excuse for the misuse of common words, such as then and than? I can forgive the misuse of obscure words (though I always look up the spelling and definition of words I am not certain about before I use them), but I find it very difficult to forgive the misuse of then/than, to/too, they’re/there/their, and a number of other common words. Messing up common words reduces the value of one’s comments because it invites ridicule. Even so, typographical errors plague the best of us now and then. I, too, appreciate it when someone corrects me when I misuse a word. It helps me avoid looking stupid the next time I use the word.

Add lose/loose to the list, and you’ve got me in your court. Personal pet peeve of mine, obviously.

The phrase I dislike is “I ran him over”.  That would mean that I picked him up and ran him over something (a table, a car hood, etc.).  What is actually meant is “I ran over him”.  Now he is under something (a car, a horse, etc).  Educated people use this term constantly.  In fact, it seems to become the norm.  The first time I heard it was 1962.  It has gone viral.

I believe we have, collectively, become bogged down in details and have lost sight of the big picture.  Let’s not forget the travesty of awarding a “cautiously sympathetic to terrorists” film an award.  This is truly an example of losing the moral compass.  Whether or not a word is spelled correctly seems minor in comparison.  The question raised by the use of the word “relative” is interesting to me – “is morality relative?”  Because, certainly, we would all agree morality is relevant, especially in 2012.

For some reason, it always catches my eye when I see that particular word misspelled.Watch for it yourselves. You will be surprised at how often it is written as definately, defenitely, and many other creative spellings. LOL! That mistake just shouldn’t easily happen due to most people having automatic spell check on their computers.

How quickly you all got off the true subject. .  That’s how the campaigning has gone…..because of personal and other issues, the real issues have been lost…just like you all got off the real issue of this message from Stu.  We all knew what MegAdams meant.  Forget the corrections; the thought process was right.  Just as, we should not forget what true issues for the country should be.  It’s not somebody’s marital life, it’s what that somebody should know about what “we the people” really need…and how to protect our liberties and freedom.  I want to know that person has a real handle on foreign affairs, the economy, issues such as “illegal” immigration, abortion and the homosexual agenda, and the infiltration of Sharia Law into our nation.  I also want to know there’s a plan to handle these things.  I also want that person to work WITH our representatives in congress…not do an end-run around them at every possible moment.

I understand supporting rock-solid beliefs beliefs. I was around in the 60′s an 70′s. I would remind the fervent members of the Earth Liberation Front an adage that I learned forty years ago. If you are willing to die for your beliefs, believe that someone will be willing to kill you. If it’s war they desire to stress thier point, they should assume that they will find it.

     Another common error creeping into way too many venues (possibly driven by thumb-typing) is the use of commas where periods or semicolns are appropriate, thereby incorrectly connecting two sentences or sentence fragments.  “Proofreading” is more than “Spell Check” (also fraught with errors), and can’t be thoroughly done by software; it needs the human touch, assuming the human knows grammar and syntax rules. 
     But to the point of the original post:  I am overwhelmed by what passes as “art” nowadays, and am just outright amazed that slander and libel and abusive language is generally accepted as perfectly OK if it is done in the context of a sitcom or a stand-up routine (or, as in this case, criminal behavior showcased and celebrated in a for-profit “socially conscious” documentary).

America has good lumber here and we need to harvest our own lumber here, replant and harvest again like any other farm crop, and bring all our industrial operations back home so that these illegal sweatshops wont have to exist.no demand no supply.

This Movie is typical of what the Progressives want for the young and easily influenced and shaped minds to see. This would have been lambasted as provoking Hate and Violence if it was done for a Conservative cause. But the liberal Movie industry wants to cater to the few that will pay to see this type of BC. But when it loses money they will say it did because most people that didn’t go to see it are not very intelligent and are not caring for our environment! I do not go see any Movies that promote the Progressive agenda. Mainly because they Stink and are full of the self serving Liberal Trash actors!

I love these idiots!  When I lived in the Northwest (the most beautiful part of the country) I had the unique opportunity of witnessing these eco jerks in action. There was a mink farm near me and the moon bats took pity on the poor creatures, so they busted all the cages open and let 10,000 weasels loose. The minks immediately set about killing several thousand domesticated animals: small dogs, cats (my cats), chickens and lots of wild life. Then they all ran out in the middle of I-5 and got squished. Minks are nasty critters. But unlike ELF (or whatever they’re calling themselves now) they serve a purpose. The end of the video quotes one of the lower life forms whining about a 300 year jail term. To date, we have to recognize that they may have a message.  I would even go so far as to say we may need to look at their concerns.  The problem is not really the message, but rather the method in which they deliver it.  I have to teach my kids everyday that there should always be a certain amount of respect given to their mother and I.  Right or Wrong (in their eyes) we have the ultimate authority and shouting in our faces will only result in punishment, weather or not we eventually see it their way.  Not to mention the fact that we are going to be even harder to convince through screaming than if they ask or develop a conversation with us.  These people must be held accountable to their illegal action over that of their message.  Even if they do have a remarkable point for their reason of such action.

Oh my gosh. It just never ends. I am really worried. It’s not bad enough with current events, now we got hollywood making domestic terrorists look good. So you can bet sure enough that some of these eco-terrorists are going to start thinking this is what they should do. I am not saying that global warming is an out and out myth. I think that there is something to it, and it needs further looking into. But you got scientists lying, making mountains out of ant hills, acting like we’re gonna make the planet uninhabitable soon. I think that yes pollution is a problem, and yes it needs to be handled, but I also think there are responsible ways of doing that. A person can recycle and be careful disposing of household chemicals and batteries, but these people take it to a rediculous deslusional level. In the clip you here the guy say no one was hurt, but in the beginning you see they are putting bombs in places. How can no one get hurt when your blowing up and fire bombing large businesses? Surely someones gonna get hurt or killed. Likely lots of people. And they are making this guy look sympathetic, oh he’s getting life in prison plus, and he didn’t hurt anyone. He didn’t? Say no one did get injured, he still destroyed many peoples livelihoods by destroying their place of business, their only source of income. That’s not hurting people?!?!

While I too strive to avoid mistakes and take no offense at being corrected, I can see where some people may get upset. There are those of us who have memory problems, vision problems and the like. I myself have brain damage from a motor vehicle accident, where I was riding a bicycle, and was struck by a car in a cross walk. Riding on the sidewalk, had the walk sign in the crosswalk, this woman made a right turn, hit me, drug me, then slammed on her breaks. I was in a drug induced coma afterwords. As a result, at times, my speech and communication can be adversely affected. So while yes, proper usage, grammar, and spelling are important, I think perhaps understanding and tolerance can be as important.
