Mar. 16, 2009 - Obama says fundamentals of economy are strong Forget the idiots who say Sarah Palin blew the election for McCain and the GOP - arguably the most hurtful thing (besides McCain's liberal tendencies) was his 'the fundamentals of the economy are strong' comment in the midst of economic crisis. Now that he has successfully injected enough fear in the American people to get all of his campaign agenda crammed down our throats -- Obama says the fundamentals of the economy are strong. Huh, funny how that works. |
| |
Mar. 13, 2009 - Obama: economy 'not as bad as we thought' What happened to 'we may not recover from this crisis' talk? An absolutely amazing transformation that has left Glenn and many others scratching their heads. |

Exactly 0% on these same economists say the recession will last longer than the end of next year. So if you believe the polls, it's a good time to be a Democrat because Obama will get the credit no matter what. But the question is, if the economy (and Glenn doesn't buy this) is going to recoverno matter what, why then the need for all of these massive bills? |
| |

| |
Feb. 20, 2009 - Frustration boiling over CNBC video from yesterday where reporter Rick Santelli gives a spirited commentary expressing his frustration at President Obama's mortgage speech--you know, the one where he basically said 'it's ok if you can't pay the mortgage, I have a bandaid for that boo-boo.' You can see the resentment growing -- is this a turning point? |

Not only have Democrats already broken their promise to give 48 hours consideration to any major bill - they are about to pass the biggest spending bill in the history of the planet...without even reading it. |
| |
Feb. 12, 2009 - Obama's tax break...$13? Remember that big tax break Obama talked about on the campaign trail---the one for 95% of all Americans? You remember, the one that would save us from this tough economic time? Well, the details are finally released and now it's pretty clear why they didn't release the details before the election. $13 per week is what people who qualify are getting. America's mayor totally gets what is going on and better yet he does an amazing job of explaining conservative principles---something there is a huge shortage of these days. Glenn and Rudy talk stimulus (which Rudy called nothing more than 'Great Society II'), Al Franken, healthcare and more. |
| |
Jan. 29, 2009 - GOP united against stimulus Do you think the media should have pointed out this was not a bi-partisan bill? They didn't because they don't want to put the pressure squarely on the Dems shoulder |
| |
Jan. 28, 2009 - March to Socialism: Job promises Notice how the number of jobs the Obama administration keeps saying will be created by this 'stimulus' (Glenn is now calling it the 'spending') package keeps mysteriously doubling?
