One of the most common attack lines from the President of the United States is the fat cats on Wall Street are destroying America. Democrats have attacked Mitt Romney and the GOP in general as being in the pockets of Wall Street. But who is really the biggest recipient of Wall Street money?
It’s the clip destined to be featured in a future GOP Obama attack ad and it’s pretty devastating. Shortly into his Presidency Obama gave an interview where he said if he hasn’t solved the nation’s economic problems within three years it’s going to be a one-term Presidency. That’s one promise most Americans hopes he keeps…
Mitt Romney has had some questionable responses to seemingly easy to defend attacks – such as the idiotic barrage of ‘Capitalist!’ darts thrown at him a few weeks ago. Plus he’s had a few Biden-esque moments, providing the media with lines like ‘I like to fire people’ and other things that make him sound super elitist. But his latest mistake has even fellow conservatives scratching their heads: ‘I’m not concerned with the poor’ is the quote, and the context isn’t much better.
Brian Williams couldn’t recall anyone ever talking to the President like Governor Jan Brewer did (wagging a finger) – apparently he forgot about the time President George W. Bush had a reporter shove his finger in his grill — the reporter? Brian Williams!
What happens when God is replaced with bioethicists? The national conversation takes a drastic turn for the worse, as we see in this shocking new report which has scientists arguing life is not sacred and that it’s ok to kill someone in certain situations.
Glenn went out to see a movie last night and caught Red Tails, produced by George Lucas who is of course of Star Wars and Indiana Jones fame. It’s about the first all black fighter squadron in the U.S. military — you may recall them as the Tuskegee Airmen.
President Obama was in Arizona this week and when he got off the plane and was greeted by Gov. Jan Brewer, he spared the pleasantries and started whining like a 2-year-old child. Instead of talking about policies, the border, anything of substance – this ego-maniac complained about what she said about him in a book.
There was quite a stunning few sentences from Obama last night that left Glenn speechless and of course the media failed to report it. It’s possible they neglected the sound bite because Obama is more and more willing to talk about it, so it’s not all that new. He sounded more like someone trying to destroy the Constitution than someone who swore an oath to protect it.
With Newt performing so well in the debates, which has translated into a primary victory in South Carolina, many of Glenn’s casual fans have wondered why he has been so thorough in his criticism of the former Speaker of the House.
Congratulations South Carolina on making such a GREAT choice in Saturday’s primary and voting for Newt Gingrich! After all, this is the state that brought us John McCain and Lindsey Graham, so it has to be the right choice for conservatives.
