Show Highlight:

Glenn's ultimate political speech

On Today's Program

Change for Change

It's the season of change and that's what all the Democrats are campaigning on these days. Glenn reminds them that change isn't always a good thing (see: changing Ford for Carter). Glenn delivers his very own speech---one that mirrors what the candidates are doing now: All style, no substance. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here to the speech).

Primary Stupidity

It is an indisputable fact that we are a great nation. It's also an indisputable fact that our primary system is more primate than prime-time. The candidates leading the field in the GOP are barely registering so far -- what, do you have to shake someone's hand in order to vote for them? Plus, what happened to Obama's double digit lead in the polls? Looks like (as Glenn pointed out masterfully in the polling chapter in his #1 New York Times bestseller An Inconvenient Book) polls aren't always what they're cracked up to be. Glenn shakes down the primary system and threatens New Hampshire's statehood in the process. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Hillary Humanized?

Hillary's big win last night in New Hampshire is being credited in part to her crying performance at a town hall meeting. That's pretty scary if some voters are changing their votes last minute because of a tear jerking performance. Glenn thought it looked robotic and calculated -- not legit -- especially coming from a Clinton. In fact, Glenn turned up the audio clip really loud and made an amazing discovery... Insiders listen here.

2008 or 1928?

Glenn decided he'd do some research and look back at the last time there was an election with no incumbents running for President. It was all the way back in 1928. Glenn found there are many similarities so far in the way things went down then and how they have gone down so far this year. The most frightening similarity has to do with the economy. Read about what Glenn found here. (Insiders listen here).

For more information on Glenn's economy theory -- take a look at last night's interview with the nation's top accountant, Comptroller Dave Walker, who is starting to beat the same 'economic trouble ahead' drum that Glenn has been on recently. Check out today's newsletter clip to watch the video.

Mr. President

A big Mercury Radio Arts congrats goes out to our Chief Operating Officer Chris Balfe, who has just been named President and COO of MRA. Topping the list of perks that come along with the new title, is his employees now must sing 'Hail to the Chief' when he first arrives in the morning. Balfe defeated Duncan Hunter by 0.3%, although mass voter irregularities were reported.

Congrats Chris!
